How is the backfield looking with Sanders, meriweather, and Wilson back there? I didn't get to see the game today to make an assumption.

They played well enough for the Pats to win. None of them were spectacular, though Sanders had a couple of good plays and hits..

I was disappointed with the number of completions, but Penny and the jets ALWAYS seem to complete a lot of passes against us. Asante looked a little so-so, and Meriweather, when he played, seemed to continue his trend of tackling well but being a day-late-and-a-dollar-short in coverage (resulting in all those tackles).

The Jets longest pass play was for 17 yards. They got a lot of shorter passes but that's what Chad does best.

After 28-7, it looked like the Pats were just keeping it in front of them.

Monday 10/1, at the Bengals, will be the first big test against top notch wideouts and we will still have no Rodney.

He averaged something like 4.6 yards a completion.. so they did ok.. lots of dinking and dunking.
