Second session notes

*** Rookie
Jerod Mayo, new contract in hand, took part in the second session, but had to stop at one point, apparently suffering from cramps.
**** On the good news front, tight-end
Benjamin Watson, who had ankle surgery during the off-season, participated in the practice, after sitting out the morning session. He didn’t seem the least bit hampered as he ran routes and caught passes.
*** Defensive end
Richard Seymour and tight-end
Marcus Pollard, participants in the morning session, did not take part in the evening practice.
*** The highlight of the session, and perhaps the day as a whole. had
Tom Brady and
Randy Moss hook up for one of their patented bombs down the left side line, as Brady hit his favorite target in stride.
Antwain Spann looked helpless defending.
