It's weird to say this...

yet with Adam Vinatieri possibly shelved until Week 3, they may need a backup kicker....would you think he'd take the job if offered?

Remember, what team keeps two kickers?

From PFW:
Word is veteran Martin Gramatica held his own with fourth-round pick Stephen Gostkowski in the battle for the Patriots' PK job. However, Gramatica needed to thoroughly outperform the promising rookie and fell short of that task, getting released after two preseason games. However, we hear that Gramatica showed enough to get back on the NFL radar screen and is likely on the short list for teams that are looking for a dependable veteran kicker.

Didn't see the game, but the kid has been perfect in preseason games, and nailed a 54 yarder (was it close ? or did he boom it ?).

Sort of in-between! Down the middle, and in the end dropped pretty comfortably over the crossbar.

Oh, the irony...

Of course he would take it. Why wouldn't he?

They have a kid named Shane Andrus on the roster already. It's likely that if AV's injury isn't too bad that no one will be added to the roster.
