Pliny the Elder??? Where do u live??For food, I have no idea, I'm leaving that up to house I'm going. But beer, I can control that so I'm bringing a variety of:
- Pliny the Elder Double IPA
- Saint Archer Double IPA
- Firestone Walker Union Jack IPA
- Green Flash Le Freak
I suspect we'll all be drunk before half time.

we were in NYC 2 weeks ago. I asked the in which we were staying what the rates were for superbowl weekend. They were pretty goodnothing for me until after or late in the game.
I don't like to drink during the day (no "holier than thou" ****, it just makes me feel lousy). And, if i start eating, i'll gorge myself on fat and salt and feel really crappy if they lose.
But, i must say that I am looking forward to a celebratory ****tail (or two) and a nice dinner when the game is in hand and they have punched their ticket to New Jersey (i live in NYC and i love to tweak the Giants and Jests fans by reminding them that the SB is being played, not in New York, but New Jersey).

Heady.. Lawson's Finest im saving for SUPERBOWL!!!!San Diego, but I have some really good beer connections so I can get it just about any time. I'm spoiled. If you're able to get Heady Topper, or any really good and hard to get beer in your area I'll trade you

if u do PM me and I would b interestedyeah. i suspect that while ticket demand will be strong that it won't be as crazy as usual for fans of the 30 "other" teams. most people who go to an SB are going more to be able to say that "they were there" than to watch the game. the average SB attendee doesn't want to spend a few thousand dollars to sit in the wind and snow to watch a team he doesn't care about. but if the game is indoors or in a warm place, it's a different story.
if the pats win, as an NYC resident, I might just scout out a couple of web pages and see if the tickets are anywhere in a range that i would be willing to spend. it would be awesome to see BB and TB win number four...
A few old beer geeks like myself go up to Vermont twice a year. The last time we made to Hill FarmsteadNow you've got me jealous.
