Foxboro cops: Pats' Chandler Jones sought medical help early Sunday

If "admitted" and "secured" are accurate then this points to the possibilities of: (A) a robbery Chandler interrupted/tried to stop/received an injury trying to escape. (B) an alcohol and testosterone fueled party that came to blows/got out of hand. (C) Chandler had psychotic female company that spiraled into some sort of domestic violence (where he didn't fight back and instead went to the police station - smart move if that was the case). (D) He had a food allergy or some sort of home accident, and the 'secure' part was simply due to him having to leave his home quickly and the Police went back to secure it. (E) Narcotics issue.

He was at practice/practicing so that is a damn good sign this isn't a serious injury. If it was a robbery. out of hand party or a domestic thing I assume we would have heard mention by now of the offending party. If narcotics then I would assume Police would have mentioned it. If food allergy or home accident we will see something, I assume, on the IR tomorrow....

Everything sounds like C, and that's exactly how I think it went down..

Maybe his lady friend found something fishy, went crazy and starting getting physical, Chandler tries to leave but she gets more agressive, leaves scratches and bruises.

He goes to the police station, files a restraining order, and they advise him to go to the hospital, while they go back to his house, escorthis lady friend out, and hang around to make sure she doesn't come back.

I'm gonna go with the Goodell assassins vs. Belichick/Jones/Gronk story. It seems like the most logical story supported by the most evidence. Here's how I think it went down:

1. First wave of assassins easily dispatched by the boys, though Bill did take one in the eye because, let's face it, he is getting a bit old for this s***.

2. Second wave gives up quickly and flees. Bill enacts the Golden Goose Protocol and orders Ernie Adams to get his black ops team to the Brady/Bundchen residence ASAP to be safe.

3. Jones heads to the local police and informs them of the attempted assault and resulting beatdown. Authorities refer him to the hospital for a minor katana-based injury and head to his house to "secure the residence." (i.e. check out the crime scene)

4. Gronk lets no man get away from him; he hunts the assassins down and ultimately catches them in central New York calling Mike Kensil from a payphone giving him the "bad news" to give to Roger. He disposes of them quickly, but it takes him a little while to get back to MA so he misses practice.

I'm pretty sure this is what happened.

As a follower of him on all forms of social media (including snapchat) I will say that he has seemed somewhat depressed and quiet in his recent updates. Who knows what reason that could be though.

He's been on the injured report with an "abdomen" for a while.

Just throwing stuff out there.

guess whats going to be filling column inches for the next few days.
awesome.

Glad to hear he's well now though. Seeing some stupid stuff on twitter.
IGNORE THE NOISE

I'm experiencing some horrifying flashback feelings to the initial breaking news about Hernandez
Get a grip. It could be something distracting, but no, just no. The thing is though, if Jones got a traffic ticket, it will be treated like a murder by the media. People like to hate the Pats and gloat at anything negative.... WTF do these distractions always come up when the team is already in slight disarray. This team needs 100% concentration on football, Period! Hopefully BB still has the ability to block this crap out. He always seems to have more success with that during the regular season. Post season "stories" is something none of us need :(

According to police sources Chandler Jones "OD'd on pills" at Gronk's house Saturday night & was taken in an ambulance to Norwood Hospital.

uh oh

This rumor doesn't make any sense, for a couple of reasons:

(1) GRONK was in Florida overnight Saturday/Sunday.

(2) Let's assume for the sake of argument Jones did have a medical issue (whatever it was) at GRONK's house. Why would they take him to the fire/police station rather than directly to a hospital, where he did in fact end up?

Could have been staying at Gronk's house while he was gone. Potentially could explain Gronk's absence today, maybe he needed to go the police station to make a statement or something (I don't do drugs, I have no idea how this stuff goes).

Exactly.

I'm playing along with the conspiracy madness but in all seriousness the fact that he went to the police first eliminates any potential criminal activity.

If BB or the org felt that he did something to break team rules, he would have been held out of practice.

For now, thats good enough for me.

With that said...........I am curious.:D

I just watched Heroin- Cape Cod, USA so I'm now convinced everyone is doing H.

That's gotta be a crazy time. Those 2 together?. Probably just wrestling around and got a little too crazy. But WTF, PLAYOFFS!!
