Re: DeAngelo Hall

he started to slip near the end in atl, but before that he was very good

We will agree to disagree, I never thought he was good.

he let alot of his bad characeter issues mess up his game

And how does a player correct that?

he just needs discipline, and you guys specialize in that

I'm not willing to babysit this jackass and I hope Bill is not either. We don't need DeAngelo Hall to win a super bowl.

Re: DeAngelo Hall

I think he could be really successful with us.

Perhaps, But Dimitrioff cut him and Al Davis let him go in the middle of the season. I mean, what else do you need to know about this guy?

I guess you could look back to last year when we desperately needed CB help and Hall had no job and he ended up in Washington as another fact that he's not that good and perhaps Bill & Scott shared that opinion at the time.

you're going to take your cues from al davis?

ok.........

Dude, That's Randy Moss - Come on.

He's one of the greatest receivers to ever play the game (even before he came to NE), are you seriously trying to compare the risks involved in taking Hall to taking Moss?

Ok, clearly you can't argue your point.

Yea, I'm taking my "cues" from Al Davis.

Convenient of you to not mention that I said Dimitioff cut him as well.

But I guess that would lessen the impact of your pathetic argument.

Re: DeAngelo Hall interest?

Hall would be a good pickup for him but I think if he's available, his price range will really sour us.

JUST an fyi, Oakland cut him because of Salary.. plus they play man to man. He's built for Zone and excels in it. He need a change of scenery and finished off strong with Washington..

Re: DeAngelo Hall interest?

I'd be interested only for a reasonable amt. of money--and I seriously doubt that he'd take any kind of pay cut (made 8 mill in 8 games last yr for OAK)

Re: DeAngelo Hall

With the exception of DeAngelo Hall, who - after 5 years - has YET to get aclimated to the pro's.

So, what does this say about Maroney?

Running backs are the closest thing to plug and play as a position.

Yeah, I didn't mean to hijack, but, it was on my mind though.

It was semi-related.

I'm not sure what you are arguing about, but Dimitroff did not cut Hall; he traded him for a second- and fifth-round picks. This fact would actually strengthen the "pathetic argument" for whomever it is you are arguing with. :)

Re: DeAngelo Hall

Deltha O'Neal says hello...
He was a stopgap until Wheatley was ready...Wheatley's broken wrist messed that up, so he had to buy additional time for Wilhite to get ready. He wasn't pretty, but he served his purpose and I don't expect him back. Hall is someone whom people seem to think will come in and take a starting position...my hemorrhoids are just jumping for joy over the idea of that overrated wanker in a NE uniform.

Skins retain DeAngelo Hall

6 year/54m deal. According to NFLN ticker.
