I think this depends on Brady's level of play. If he is still playing at a high level, I could see Kraft overrulling BB. However, if Tom is being stubborn and won't retire even though his skills haver eroded, then they will probably move on.
Teddy Bruschi was asked in his chat how he came to his decision to retire. He said BB sat him down and simply said "it is time". Teddy knew that he wasn't the same player but still tried to talk BB out of his decision. In the end he wanted to retire a Patriot and made the correct decision. I really hope Brady knows when to hang it up and retires a Patriot.
It was past time for Tedy, to be honest. The reason he wasn't cut before is he had a team friendly salary (I believe, I am not Miguel).
