Bill Zwecker of the CHICAGO SUN-TIMES reports today that "Romo has been told to put his romantic life on the back burner at this critical juncture near the end of the regular NFL season. I also understand that at least one team official has suggested to Simpson that it would 'be in Tony's best interest,' if the couple cooled it for a few weeks."

Is it possible to "cool it" with Jessica Simpson? Give me 20 seconds with her, and I'll show you the opposite of "cool it"

Seriously, I would only need 20 seconds.

So funny. How many games have you seen Giselle at? Let alone in a private booth with a pink Tom Brady jersey on?

Oh that's right, none, because Tom Brady is a PROFESSIONAL.

Maybe wittle tony womo can take notes. Guys just a kid, he's not ready for the big stage and he and the Cowgirls will choke before they get there.

"Professional" players have their wives and girlfriends at the games all the time. If Romo can't throw a football because he's thinking of Jessica's rack, as outstanding as it is, Dallas should be looking for a new starting quarterback.

So are wives, Mothers, Fathers, Siblings, friends etc.. not a allowed at games any more? Seriously this is the most pathetic thing I have seen in a while. His girlfriend attends the game and they lose, is Favre's wife to blame everytime his team suffers a loss?

Maybe Jerry can parlay this into banning all family members and associates of players from attending the game, if so it would be awesome, think about how many more tickets that would open up.

FYI-Jessica attended the GB and Washington games-they still won both, and Tony played outstanding in both.

Nah-we're just jinxed when we play the Eagles. Romo had his 2nd worst game of his career last xmas at TX Stadium against them.

And how many professional players are dating one of the most high profile celebrities in the country?

I'm not saying that wives/friends/family shouldn't be at the game. But when your wife is Jessica Simpson, she absolutely should not be at the game.

It's ridiculous that Jessica Simpson's attendance is being used as the excuse for the team playing poorly. This has nothing to do with professionalism, it has everything to do with her being a scapegoat for the media's next Favre laying an egg.

And FWIW, Giselle and Moynihan have both attended Patriots games while with Tommy. The Cowboys are out of line in recommending that they cool it, unless, of course, Jerry Jones has decided to model his football team after Dr. Phil's television show.

Prove to me that Simpson was the reason Romo sucked. It's not like they were canoodling on the sidelines. He just had a bad game and she is catching all the blame for it. It's stupid.

How many times do you see Eva Longoria(sp) in the stands when she see's her Tony Parker and Spurs play? How many games have they won over the last 2-3 years? Some 200?

It was just an overall FLAT game by the Boys, IMHO. The receivers were also dropping balls and running bad routes, not to mention too the OL looked lost out there as well for the first time all year.

And Jason Garrett's playcalling was the WORST I've seen all year too.

I guess Jessica's been yanking on Romo's thumb. As far as Jessica not being hot, have you ever seen the commercial when she's in her Dazy Duke's and kicks the guy's asss. I think even Patters would consider her hot.

Assuming I was the starting quarterback? Super Bowl. Unless you're Trent Dilfer, that pretty much sets you up in both regards.

If she was doin' that on the sidelines I do believe that would be a more than acceptable excuse for every human being in the stadium and on the field to **** themselves. :D

She wasn't, though, so Romo should find a better excuse.
