Complementary Game.
It is a tough term to really dig into because it seems obvious that all the parts of a team game must work together for optimal output.
But cohesion seems to be more than just individual parts doing well.
This is really what seperates a good coaching staff from great coaching staff.
The ability to see the big picture. Stats go out the window. Brute force is a possibility but the term "elegance" is much more appropriate. The players and coaches know what steps need to be taken for the win to occur, and they know what the ramifications are if everyone just kinda "wings it."
If anyone can help clarify this term it would be great because I think that this is what really seperates the men from the boys. I have heard it used by Reiss and Colvin this week.
