The whole Calvin Johnson deciding that he wouldn't participate in the combine but rather at the Georgia Tech Pro-Day got me to thinking about the reasoning.
1) He'd have HIS QB throwing him the ball.
2) Other players on his team would get viewed.
I think the 2nd is admirable. However, I have to question the 1st motive. Whatever NFL team drafts him isn't going to have Taylor Bennett or any of the other Georgia Tech QBs throwing him the ball.
There was a 3rd reason, but I can't think of it right now. I hope to catch the interview again.
