Horrible news, just horrible news. Like others have said he was a humble man that eschewed the life of a rock star. He was a great drummer who could do so much with so little in the way of a drum kit. One of my favorites...RIP Charlie

One time, the Stones were on some tropical island fine tuning for a tour.

Outside the studio, a journalist asked Richards how much longer did he plan to do this. The Stones were up in years then which seems young now. Richards replied "Listen" They didnt speak, the windows to the recording studio were open and you only heard the sound of Watts banging on his drums.

Richards finished his answer "Who would want to get off that bus Man"
