Well, the cap finally came to an agreement with the league on imdemnification and it turns out that it a really a cap to the athleet's foot cream. The Patriots actually use flip-top tubes.
Tony Massorotti would like you toothpick sucking, breath sniffing, hero worshipers to remember that this has no bearing on the fact that said player was indeed in that bathroom, brushing his teeth. Just because there was no toothpaste cap doesn't mean that the player didn't gunk up the flip-top or squeeze the tube from the middle, not to mention the specks on the mirror - where did those come from pray tell?
As you are a member of the public, he strongly urges you to review all media stories (particularly this continuously developing one) with a cynical and skeptical eye. Try to discern which members of the media brush their teeth with Patriots Super Bowl spin-brushes, and which of your pathetic, repressed middle-aged neighbors wear their Tedy Bruschi jerseys while flossing.
lol lolAccording to an anonymous source, and unnamed player left the cap off the toothpaste during training camp last summer. Folks this must be the straw that breaks the camel's back! Tune in to ESPN or read the Boston Herald for additional forthcoming details.
