Brady "VERY" confident - PFW

The recievers were servicable last year, they came within five yards of going to and winning another Super Bowl.................

I'll make sure from here on out....I only post info based on what
Tom Brady says to me directly.

Jezz....I am willing to bet half of you didn't even listen to the link. I havn't missed a PFW webcast for the last 4 years....and Paul Perillo doesn't just throw that stuff around on a regular basis. If you did listen, and read between the lines....you come away with the impression Tom was most likely referring to the new offensive fire power when the question was asked from the friend.

I'm sure even just from mini camp that Tom could see the potential this offense is going to have. We have been harping on this receiver thing for a year now....don't you think Tom knows as well as anyone it was a big weakness in there game last year.

That 'weakness' as you referred to almost played in the super bowl, the biggest weakness is the weakness that cost you the final game of your season

That weakness was LBs and secondary-not receiver

The only reason the wideouts LOOKED serviceable last year is because of Brady.....and you know it.

If the offense could have stayed on the field for a long drive in the second half nobody would be all that concerned about the defense.

The team that was out on the field in the second half of the AFCCG was not a super bowl team. But what people don't realize, is that the Colts D, faced with what NE had go wrong in that game, would have let Chicago put 40 up on them in the second half.
