Not sure if this has hit PatsFans.com yet, but just heard rumor that the Patriots have contacted Drew Bledsoe and asked him to take a physical. Bledsoe has not given an answer yet, but is considering it.

It would be awesome if this happened. The number of strokes and suicides from this message board alone would set Massachusetts death levels at an all time high. MoLewisRocks would be found rocking slowly back and forth, just mumbling the words "bring back Mo Lewis, bring back Mo Lewis" over and over.

Hilarious. I bet you Drew Bledsoe resembles the Unabomber these days.

    Not a joke..

I heard it on the radio about 6pm here in Orlando and it came from a guy I usually consider a bufoon, but once in a while, he calls it right. So, I'm not sure what to believe, but he sounded absolutely convinced that it was true.

I live in Central Florida. Who reported this? Ackerman? O'Neill?

While I think there's little to no chance of this, I would be intrigued to be honest - he played under Weis so he'll remember the concepts, he can get the ball downfield and we have an adequate OL (it wouldn't look as good as with Brady). I expect to be lambasted but I can take it ;)

im not sure if it would be awesome for the team, but so many people on here would be so angry, i would love it.

Another Drew, Henson, is available from the Lions' practice squad. Tom Brady once said Drew Henson was a good QB. And I've always wanted to see Henson play.

Id go with bufoon in this case too.

Bledsoe is enjoying retirment from all reports and has a lot of business interests so, I doubt it.

You can continue to consider him a buffoon. However you can now clarify it with a "Complete and Total" buffoon. :)

But now the big what if is: What if it's true?
