It's easy, and only takes a few moments.I am not nervous, but have this feeling that the game will be so intense and nerve wracking that my heart will be thumping very hard for a full four hour period. Preparing myself with serenity that comes from corresponding with like minded folks at Patsfans.com.
Do u think that's chicken of me not to watch?
I'm already nervous I perpetually feel like I'm gonna puke!
Nothing would be more satisfying than watching our team close the deal and Brady & BB finally hoisting the elusive fourth.
At the same time, the two losses to the Giants have me prepared for the worst. *knocks on wood
Same here, I feel your pain.Truth be told I am in a foul mood. I live in WA and I am surrounded by Seahawk fans.
Everybody is different. I personally love to watch Patriots play and the way the game unfolds. I may be biting my nails, will be elated if they win, heart broken if they loose, but unscripted live drama unfolding is what I am looking forward to.I have knots, butterflies, deflated balls....u name it! I am even thinking of going to the extent of not watching, record it, see the result and watch EVERY play in its entirety knowing we have WON! Do u think that's chicken of me not to watch? Is anyone doing that too or am I being a little nutty?
I was the reverse. Watched the entire 2008 game but so wasted didn't really know what was what. The 2012 game I was super nervous. As nervous as hell and it has only become worse as the yrs have gone by with this team. When I came to this country in 99 I didnt know what football was. I learnt and started watching during the 2001 season and they ended being champs and won 2 more.
2007/8 I moved to the west coast and got my TV just the day of the superbowl, I was such a bag of nerves that after the 1st Q I shut off the tv and went out. Yes ,I admit it , I have never watched the game which shall not be named fully. 2012 I was watching through a streaming connection outside the country and frankly that loss didnt hurt as much , that 2012 team was an overachiever. But I believe Iam personally responsible for those 2 losses by moving out of boston . Hopefully that 'curse' breaks tomorrow.
I know what u mean. Wish i could fast forward to Monday. Wait is unbearable.I have knots, butterflies, deflated balls....u name it! I am even thinking of going to the extent of not watching, record it, see the result and watch EVERY play in its entirety knowing we have WON! Do u think that's chicken of me not to watch? Is anyone doing that too or am I being a little nutty?
