2023 UDFA thread

Personally, I'm hoping for Ethan Bonner out of Stanford as a conversion project.
I think that Speed and Bolden will, at the very least, be vying for a Gunner position behind Schooler/Slater.
He went to the Fish, sadly.

I will be honest, I was sitting here thinking about UDFAs earlier and the only player I thought of that I was really hoping they would sign was Malik Cunningham. To open this thread and see he signed here immediately is really exciting! He’s said he doesn’t want to switch positions but I have to imagine going undrafted changes his mind on that one… he’s very athletically talented.

Part of the reason Edelman was so good as a conversion was because a QB has to know his WRs’ routes to throw to them so it is somewhat natural to just then be the guy running those routes and understand what your QB is looking for from you. But I also understand that perhaps he might be a candidate for a DB role. Free safety makes sense.

I guess there is an outside chance BOB can develop him as an actual QB.

Really want Wheaton.
HUGE missed opportunity. He will wind up being better than Boutte and Douglas. ****ing Giants, I’ve hated them for a while (obviously), now that has increased 10x.

I like Keaton Mitchell at RB. Rumor had it that they liked M. Ibrihim of Minnesota.

Obsessing over UDFA's is ridiculous. First off, most of these guys will be camp cuts, secondly those that don't fit one squad could surely fit another team's needs. Every friggin' season it's the same thing...waaah waaah waaah Team X took one of our UDFA's!!, followed by"we signed some UDFA cut by team Z...BB is an idiot!". IF even one or two UDFA's make a roster in the NFL THAT is pretty damn good or denotes a team's lack of talent through the 53 man roster.

I believe Mitchell signed somewhere. I liked his speed.
