Dear lord, 3 WR's over 6-3? @ChrisR2223 and @Deus Irae would pee themselves with glee. I can see 1 maybe but not 1 single offensive lineman on top of that? That's crazy talk. Definitely a FAIL.

Big tall prototypical receivers to mold Josh needs to call whoever chose demaryious Thomas and Eric Decker

We cant have anymore mistakes someone has to he held accountable why cant we poach the Pittsburgh receiver scout and write him a blank check

I was just kidding around @ChrisR2223 but this is a legitimate concern. We've flat out blew it drafting WR's so many times I suppose I'm gun-shy at the prospect of it. Would I love a young tall lean WR playmaker? Hell ya! Unfortunately we seem to really only have success drafting smurfs way late or picking up undrafted finds that fit that mold or getting them the FA route.

I agree though, steal that Pitt scout at all costs! :D

1.) our offense is more complicated than Pittsburgh.
2.) receivers in our system have to earn Brady's trust.
3.) bb has drafted a ton of receivers, but Brady seems to prefer veterans.

I agree with all your points ochmed but we need to rework the system to fit young talented players on the field.

here's my mock......kick it around all you like:

Trades:
Chandler Jones to New Orleans for #47
Jimmy Garoppolo to Cleveland for #65 plus a 2017 3rd rounder

Assumes Hicks is resigned

#47 WR Tyler Boyd
#60 OT Jason Spriggs
#65 DE/LB Jordan Jenkins
#92 LB Tyler Matakevich
#97 TE Bryce Williams
#128 OT Joe Haeg
#176 SS Jayron Kearse
#199 QB Kevin Hogan
#214 DE Ronald Blair
#248 TE Jake Mcgee
#252 RB Wendell Smallwood

Bleh.

I'm not on the trade-95 bandwagon, so I'm not thrilled with that.

I'm also guessing that the Patriots aren't willing to trade Garoppolo before the Deflategate c—p is done without getting more than that. [In your scenario, you could end up with a rookie Kevin Hogan starting Week 1.]

A lot to like. Spriggs, Hogan, Blair and McGee. And I like Boyd although I think that's too rich for a relatively unathletic possession receiver. However I'm less keen on Bryce Williams and Jayron Kearse and I'm less excited about the other picks. Still, nice attempt.

Boyd does returns on special teams.......reduces the mileage on the guys already here

In fact quie a few of these guys would stand to improve special teams

I could see someone besides Jenkins, but I chose him for his versatility......could be more prototypical DE....I would move up for Ogbah if he falls far enough or go for a guy like Nassib...Jenkins isn't a binky....more about strengthening the position

I'd skip Williams and TE altogether in that spot if later on we can grab a healthy rockhead johnson later or UDFA....still grab mcgee though
