QB is a need at the end of the year as well. 5 out of 5.So for 4 months people talked about them needing to get OL help in the draft, needed to get an inside pass rusher and probably needed to take a RB with different questions about Vereen and Ridley.
Pats have filled 4 needs in 5 picks. Disagree on the personnel all you want but you can't say they haven't used the draft to draft certain needs on the team.
Why would Fleming replace Cannon? If one of them is starting, the other is a back-up at both positions..
I love the draft so far. I really wanted a ferocious inside pass rusher. That's exactly what Easley is. I wanted us to fix our interior OL. Stork can give us a center that doesn't get pushed around as much and we can either kick Flemming or Cannon inside now and hopefully fix RG that way.So for 4 months people talked about them needing to get OL help in the draft, needed to get an inside pass rusher and probably needed to take a RB with different questions about Vereen and Ridley.

I find it interesting, while the rest of the league is getting smaller and faster to get after the QB, the Pats are getting bigger and nastier to run it down people's throats.

The OL is on the way towards being bigger and stronger, which does address a need in the middle.
Pretty nice highlight package for a guy who shared carries. Also, reportedly good blocker, receive and never fumbles.
I can put my son down for a nap while this is happening. And now comes the long dark tea time of the Patriots draft . . .
