Even though the Pats have signed 6 UFAs to date from other

teams, none of them will fit into the formula since they had

been released. On the other hand, some of the players the

Pats lost should qualify resulting in two or three late round picks

next year.

To my knowledge, all of them should qualify. Including Paxton since his contract is over 1 million a year.

CJ Jones won't figure in to the equation as he was released by the Pats
Izzo will figure in, even though he's signing for the vet minimum.

Darrell Robertson will not figure in as he was released by the Pats.

I don't believe that anybody has ever received a compensatory pick for a player who signed for the vet minimum. It would kind of defeat the whole point if they did.
