Granted it may seem I am up my own arse but who are they.. how dare they be in the top 50. Thanks for posting the list! Only F1 and Nascar drivers and all outside the top 50. Typical BSPN list. A true worldwide leader in sports top 100 famous athletes list would have Lewis Hamilton much higher up on that list.

Ryan Sheckler, a washed up skateboarder, most popular as a child 10 years ago, above Rob Gronkowski.

I don't even know the names of 10 people in the top 30. I've heard 2 or 3 their names come up like once before, but couldn't tell you what team, let alone the league they play in - just the sport.
