Carucci: Peppers close to going to NE for #34 [mergedx3]

re: Carucci: Peppers close to going to NE for #34 (merged 3x) I've jsut heard a rumor that Peppers was working out a contract with the Patriots right now. Is this true? If so, the trade must be done pending peppers signing a contract

Carucci: Peppers close to going to NE for #34 [mergedx3]

re: Carucci: Peppers close to going to NE for #34 (merged 3x) I like that idea. Haynesworth style deal... I do not see haynesworth getting all the money he signed for anyways

Carucci: Peppers close to going to NE for #34 [mergedx3]

re: Carucci: Peppers close to going to NE for #34 (merged 3x) If the patriots are able to sign Peppers to a long term deal after trading for him (if it all comes true) and he is willing to convert to OLB, our defense is going to be in great shape for 2009.

Which FA acquisition excites you the most?

I really like all the signings this year. Springs and Bodden really boost our secondary, which was completely depleted. Galloway is a former probowler who will likely serve as the #3 (not bad for your #3) But I really like the Fred Taylor signing. Hes one year removed from a pro bowl...

Is anyone else concerned about our lack of pass rush?

Picking up Jason Taylor would be a great asset to our pass rush. Perhaps Derrick Brooks also???

Donte' Stallworth may get cut today. Would you take him back?

Re: Donte Stallworth may get cut today. Would you take him back? I said maybe. Only because we just signed Joey Galloway to a one year deal. We have Moss, Welker, and Lewis under contract, and we need to spend our money on something we need, like OLB, ILB, SS, CB etc etc

The official: This guy got cut, should we sign him thread!

I'd like to see us sign one or two of theses guys to one year contracts. Derrick Brooks and/or Jason Taylor. I'd like to see Taylor as an OLB for us. I think that would work out great. what do u all think

A Rosey Future: Guess what's next for Colvin

I would like to see him compete for a back up position with us next year in camp. I was disappointed when he was released at the beginning of this season and was very happy to see him back. I think it would be solid insurance for us

    1/23/09: What happens to Matt?

Re: 1/23/08: What happens to Matt? Cassel's value is no doubt at it's highest right now, at least as for as the Patriots are concerned. I would like to see him dealt for a first rounder at least, so we may build our defense. I would also be content seeing a vet signed to back O'C if for some...

    Trade

I am looking to make a move to fill all the holes of my franchise. I am thinking about offering a manager in my league Tomlinson and Darrell Jackson for Steve Jackson and Torry Holt. I had discussions with this manager about this deal and he thinks he might do it. WHat would you say?

Would you trade W.McGahee for Chad Johnson?

I would definietely do that. Maroney has the potiential to be better than MacGahee Jones and Edge could do that as well. You are going to get great numbers with Johnson and get good numbers from one of those three backs. go for it.

Let's face it - The AFC is a 3-team race

Re: Let's face it - The AFC is a 3 team race As much as I hate the Colts, he is right. No matter what we think, the colts are going to be in the hunt.

Who starts at RT in 2007?

I am going to say Britt. I have not been impressed at all with O'Callahan and Kaczur over th past few years. I really would like to see what this kid can do as a full time starter.

    Colts to repeat

As BB says, we don't collect talent, we build a team. I can see the how the adding these players allowed the patriots to "build a team" The fixed their needs with really good players coming off down seasons. I can live with that. As for the Colts repeat, they have lost too much of their...

    Russell demanding $35M guaranteed

To be honest with you, if I was the Oakland GM, I might just walk. I think it is completely absurd for a rookie QB, A ROOKIE who has not proven anything in the league, to ask for so much guaranteed money. It is just flat-out ridiculous. Honestly, if I was offered 31 mill in guaranteed money...

Matt Cassel - Predict the future

I don't see the Patriots moving him unless they get Schaub quality draft choices. The Patriots hold him very highly and I would be extremely surprised if they trade him away for anything less.
  18. rbkgoalr

    Should I do this trade?

I would like to also state that it is a keeper league and I forgot to mention that
  19. rbkgoalr

    Should I do this trade?

I am considering a deal to bring Steve Smith to my club. MY 1st offer is going to be Willie Parker for Steve Smith 2nd will be Darrell Jackson and Willie Parker for Steve Smith MY Team QB: Tom Brady WR: Darrell Jackson WR: TJ Houshmanzadeh WR: Donte Stallworth TE: Greg Olsen RB...
