Thought I'd bring up this subject in the off season,,
Watching a NFL game a while back, and noticed a player that had been in the league for quite a while, 14 years, and thought that guy has never been on a winning team, but yet keeps playing and playing,,
The player=Takeo Spikes
Does he...
Been wondering about this lately, since the transition in our roster. After losing the Harrisons, Bruschi's , et al.
Have read in the past of players diagnosing plays better than the coaches can. Bruschi knowing how he can expand his own role with sacrificing the concepts of the team defense...
I'm figuring that the Pats will trade A. Thomas before the draft.
What will they get for him, a seventh rounder? Yesterdays newspaper? Anything to keep him away from the Jets.
Then figuratively, what is the worst team for A. Thomas,, Detroit, St. Louis, Cleveland, if BB was a mean spirited...

the year we drafted Kevin...

BB has been here long enough, and I still believe Parcells is the better evaluator of draft talent.
BB has not come even close to matching the the 1995 Parcells draft, Ty Law, Ted Johnson, Curtis Martin, Dave Wohlabaugh...
No it's not the latest Clancy novel, but sounds good,,
Anyway I was hoping for some interior OL help in the draft and this is the guy. Rumours are about how high they are on him, tough, strong.
I find this pick facinating because of what BB went thru to get him,
