For those of us who like good number talk...according to patriots.com Arrington is now wearing 24 and Sergio Brown tweeted that he is now wearing 31.
I'm sure there'll be more after the roster shake-up.
Mayock is now listing Toby Gerhart as the fourth best running back in the draft after Spiller, Ryan Matthews and Jahvid Best. BTW he lists McCluster as tied for the fifth best back with Joe McKnight.
Gerhart is 6' 235 with a 4.6 forty time and can play fullback and tailback. High character...
This guy is really raw but is an intriguing prospect in the 4th round at the highest. I would have said 5th, but we don't have one of those. Has size at 6'7" 260 and ran a 4.65 40. Was a basketball player at Miami before playing football last year.
I vaguely remember BB making a correlation...
This guy strikes me as a Patriots type: versatile-played fullback, tight end and guard at Oklahoma. He's big at 6' 5" 260 and according to PFW has "outstanding football intelligence." On top of that, they call him "very feisty" and a finisher. Not a great receiving threat.
Would be a great...
He seems to have the size 6'6" 265 and is a solid blocker and pass catcher. Projected as a 2nd rounder unless teams shy away due to a back injury and he falls in the draft.
I haven't seen him on any of the pre-draft contact lists with the Pats, so they may not have any interest. Just have to...
Tackle Patrick Brown added to PS per Reiss

Haven't seen it anywhere else, but he was right on Nunn earlier.
Isaiah Stanback 6'2" 208 25 years old 3rd year WR/QB
Released by the Cowboys

Although I realize it's a longshot, I've had this sense throughout training camp that Ninkovich will make the 53. Here are some some of my observations:
He has a good motor.
He does a good job at setting the edge. Keeps his inside shoulder in the correct relation to the blocker in most...
Seeing as how we have a large number of draft picks this year and compensatory picks are not tradable, I was wondering about the possibility of drafting a punter. Pro Football Weekly says this about Thomas Morstead from SMU:
"Big, tall, long-legged punter who booms the ball with excellent...
He didn't look very good on his punt returns, but he made two key plays in the fourth quarter to help seal this win. The first was running down the KC receiver on the long pass and the second was defending on the 4th down play. A good start for him.
Worth a look-the headline "Brady provides perfect model for Romo"

Garrett Mills was claimed by the Vikings. I would like to have seen him stick; I thought he had some potential. Best of luck to him.

I'm curious when Practice Squads will start being announced. I hope Rogers and Elgin make it through. I'd also like to see Mills there as well if he's eligible.
I grew up here in the late sixties and started high school in the early seventies, and I can remember racing with my older brother to see who could get the Globe Sports page first every morning. Our very favorite was columnist Ray Fitzgerald-his combination of wit and information was nowhere...
I just read the Peter King story (thanks for the link), and it strikes me what a class guy Adalius Thomas seems to be.
Two quotes really stick out for me:
"There are a few things I want to do with the money. I want to provide for my niece's and nephew's college educations. I'll buy a house...
