"LOL!!! A "star" third stringer...."
Fnordcircle said: "Now that the Patriots have named him a 'star player' for media purposes he only has to be allowed to speak to media one time a week."
So you know what I meant, or maybe you were too stupid to understand?
You're the only one laughing. Other people answered the question. It's not "obvious" that there is a star rule where media appointed stars only have to talk to the media once a week. I follow the games; I don't pay attention to every little thing that doesn't have to do with the games on...
Also, my question wasn't about how Belichick is going to handle talking about Tebow, but how much Tebow would be required to talk to the media and if even with Belichick's counseling, he'd still answer the stupid questions that have nothing to do with football (a low opinion of Tebow, not...
I'd suggest you stop sending me creepy private messages unless you're a hot girl. Most people are nice here and answered the question politely, so I'll just attribute you as an anomaly. If you're looking to display online dominance to compensate for your real life deficiencies, look elsewhere...
If you want to laugh at someone online for asking an innocuous question, it speaks more about you than it does me. If you want to back up your talk in real life, that's a different story altogether.
I guess I have this fear that the storyline is going to be Tebow regardless of what happens during the games. Even though I'm sure Belichick has already talked to Tebow about how to handle media questions, I can see local mediots and national mediots alike asking him everything from his...
I have a Brady 50th anniversary white throwback jersey, sewn on. Most likely not authentic, got it on ebay for a reasonable price, but can't really tell the difference anyway.
The only disappointing things are:
1.)Like I said I was expecting a more stats oriented book. He does go through basic stats like TD percentage/INT percentage etc. but a lot of the rest are just his opinions.
2.)The chapter on Brady vs. Peyton - there are plenty of reasons Brady is better...
I'm sure this type of post has already been made before, but hey it's the off-season. Mods feel free to move it if you want.
What non-Patriots players do you enjoy watching?
For me, I've always liked watching Drew Brees, but the past couple seasons, I've grown admiration for Aaron...
Anyone read this book? I finished it a few days ago and would recommend it as a good read for any Pats/Brady fan or just a fan of quarterbacks in general. He goes through most of the great quarterbacks of all time and their careers and compares them to Brady. The other chapters are about...
You think this is bad, I have a friend from Jacksonville who thinks that Tebow is the "moral fiber the Patriots needed." I have absolutely no idea why Belichick would bring this circus show to town. He can't throw a football, hasn't shown anything in general on the football field, and is...
I don't see how anyone can criticize the Patriots for this. The difference between the Patriots and a team like the Ravens is the Patriots part ways with a guy like Hernandez even if he's a good player.
I'm taking a different approach to watching the team this year...just enjoying the regular season and if anything happens in the postseason it's a bonus. Like I said, I have friends who are fans of sub-.500 teams, and they'd do anything just for a wild card berth and a single playoff game. We...
I just fear that the team, not Brady, has become the Atlanta Braves of the NFL like someone else said...a great team in the regular season and good enough to make the playoffs but not win in it. If the Pats are going to win another SB during the Brady/Belichick era, it will because the team...
With Rondo on the team, they're still good enough where they won't have a top 5 pick in the draft. Having Rondo doesn't make much sense if your goal is to develop young talent while losing, for him or for the team. You figure he'd much rather play for a winner and the team would rather have...
Regardless of the coach, this team doesn't have the players to compete anyway. The East is Miami's for at least another 3 or 4 years anyway, and Red Auerbach himself couldn't coach this team with the players they currently have (or don't have.)
I'm just hoping they svck really bad and get...
I'm waiting for some big scandal to come out about Tebow...I just hope it isn't when he's a member of the Patriots. But the "holier-than-thou" thing rubs me the wrong way.
