Pay attention to your bill.
My wife was reviewing our DirecTV bill tonight and Sunday Ticket was on there without us ordering it. We haven't ever had it - they tried slamming it in.
I'm sure it was an honest mistake on their part...
I'm not torn at all because it isn't Wallace vs Lloyd.
It's Wallace vs (Lloyd PLUS a first rounder). And if they trade the 1st rounder, even more picks.
I'd love to see the Pats re-sign Welker, bring in a solid #2, and have Branch as #3. The guy has everything the Pats value - football smart, is a hard worker, tough, not afraid to go over the middle, and Brady trusts him. Count the "upside, talented" guys they've brought in that failed due to...
Best part of the "hat trick" is that Brady will have two hands on the Lombardi trophy and probably let Joe Buck or Aikman caddy the other two trophies.
Knock on wood...
Ahh, reminds of stinkypete's post regarding Spygate on 09-14-2007, 04:04 AM

Not worth worrying about. Mangini is 2 sub .500 seasons away from never coaching in this league again...
Re: PFT is perplexed at BB's interview
While you're at it, ask the New York Times why they choose to say that douchebag "obtained the tapes while employed by the Patriots" instead of just calling a spade a spade and saying he stole them.
It's all agenda, all spin boys.
The scumbag is making sure that he stretches out his 15 minutes long enough so his name is recognizable and he can cash in on a book full of truths, half truths, and flat out lies with no legal repurcussions.
He has nothing new and nothing that will implicate the Patriots any further. Hence...
Shoring up the secondary when you are hit by injuries in the middle of a season is a lot different than trying to assemble talent to start the offseason.
It's a lot easier to bring guys in that have half a clue what you are trying to do and get them to be decent than to bring somebody in...
Merriweather has to work on his ball skills this offseason - he had 4 or 5 balls either go through his hands or hit him in the pads this year. Granted, an over the shoulder, back to the ball interception is difficult, but so is catching the ball off your helmet. Gotta make some plays, not just...
When BB was defensive coordinator with the Giants, he always wore the red jacket so it was easier for his players to pick him out of the sea of blue. So if he was going to be calling anything, it makes sense.
It comes down to Asante vs. the alternatives and Moss vs. the alternatives, not Asante vs. Moss.
If they can get the same value or something reasonably less, at (corner/WR) at below (Asante's/Moss') asking price, they do it. They're not going to overpay for either.
We have a lot more...
It was probably a wash, but the FOX game clock got really goofy from 1:28 left until about 56 seconds left in the game. It didn't start for an entire play, then it reset to about 1:16, then back up to 1:22. It was like Mercury Morris was on crack running the clock.
Again, no excuse, no...
I've been watching a lot of NFL network and haven't seen a thing. I think I saw one story on ESPN a couple of weeks ago and that was it. If the freaking Redskins were in the SB, you wouldn't be able to turn a TV on without seeing his face...
Regardless, it would still be inspiring to leave...
Keeping it open is inspiring indeed.
It's kind of petty, but it bothers me how much media attention went to Sean Taylor, yet there's been a "91" on the back of the Pats helmets all year and nary a tale of the loss of their friend and teamate.
