You cant compare one situation to another bro. Lewis was behind McCoy for a couple of years and then broke his leg. It all worked out really well, but to say I was wrong is very short sighted.
As I have said before, I wanted them to draft Lewis instead of Vereen. I loved the kid at Pitt and felt that he could have been an integral part of the Pats long term success.
I felt that Gray was a better RB than Blount, but honestly both are replaceable. I am excited to see a backfield with White and Lewis. A lineup with White, Lewis, Edelman, Gronk and Chandler sounds very appealing.
I am actually pretty surprised by this move. I thought that Harper was going to be our KR/PR man, so I am wondering if this move makes Harper expendable. Your thoughts??
I got be honest, if they cut Blount it would not hurt my feelings. I think that Gray is at least as good as Blount. I have been a fan of Lewis for years. I wanted the Pats to draft him over Vereen.
I was very impressed with Gibson and Harper. I had high hopes for Boyce when he was drafted, but I accept the fact that he is not a going to be a WR for this team.
I wanted the Pats to draft Lewis instead of Vereen. I watched a lot of Lewis in College and I love the kid. I hope he makes the team because I think he will be a stud. I posted about him shortly after he was signed. Very excited.
I felt incredibly betrayed by Kraft when he decided not to fight the penalties, but I have calmed on that stance. I am sure that Kraft bought this team when they where borderline laughing stock of the NFL. He then spent $325 million of his own money to build the stadium(IMO, he gets a pass...
What gets me is the term about integrity of the game, but there has been minimal mention of the Vikings and Panthers heating the balls on the sidelines or Rodgers admission that he likes to to have the balls over inflated and hope that the refs don't notice.
Depending on the guage used the...
Why isn't anyone talking about 3 of the 4 Colts balls were under the limit at the end of the game? What we have here is a double standard. I hope Brady demands a trade and BB leaves also. I have been a pats fan since the early 80's and am absolutely sick by Kraft not fighting. I believe...
I am surprised that they did not claim that BB ordered the ball deflated and point to the fact that he drafted Jimmy G and anticipated a suspension.
Honestly, I think that if the balls were deflated it was due to the Brady saying that he liked a softer ball. Not that he necessarily told people...
