A severely crippled team, playing with many rookies, street free agents, dinged up players, and career back-ups, lost a championship game to the best team in their conference.
My only question is, what in the world made anyone think this team was going to the Superbowl ?
At this point I look at any win as a gift from God. If they go on to win it all, I'll put it right up there with SB 36 as the most astounding accomplishment in team history.
A team playing this many rookies has no right to be in the playoffs at all in my opinion.
Since the Giants won't be playing, anything is possible.
Realistically, a team with about two dozen rookies, un-drafted free agents, and practice squad players on the roster, have no business winning the Super Bowl.
If they do win it all, they can put BB in the Hall of Fame this year, why...
Brady does change plays a lot, but I think it's more from one pass play to another pass play, or one run play to another run play. I don't think they run from a passing formation very often, but maybe they should. They'd be a lot less predictable.
One thing that really annoys me,is that when...
God invented football so we'd have something to look forward to after church and Sunday dinner.
Any other time than 1:00 pm Sunday is a sin against all that is holy and right with the world.
BB hates the injury reports, since they're essentially there for the Vegas oddsmakers. So he loads them up every week with every scratch and dent he can find.
Zeus, you've proved once again that alcohol and keyboards can sometimes produce curiously brilliant observations.
As the old saying goes, " I'd rather have a bottle in front of me, than a frontal lobotomy. "
If I was Brady , looking at that o-line, and the opposition, I'd hand off on every single play.
We have to be thankful that Brady is still able to play given that he has been hit on just about every pass play this season.
