With the signing of Lynch I think we are seeing Kraft's true vision of building a championship business (not just a team). A business is built to win every year not just a few then go down, then return again.
Because of the Patriots organization continual success I see top free-agent talent...
Hmmm . . .what's Bill Polian doing now?? Probably wondering how his cap is doing next year with Peyton due $15M+ and a yet needing to fill all the holes that were exposed in his organization.
Oh wait, I do know what he's up to. He's probably already called the Ref's and the NFL requesting...
At first I was going to call you a troll. But then I realized you're right . . . Mr. Kraft OWNS this league. He built this organization playing by the rules and now dominates the competition at every phase of the game (players, coaching, winning, scouting, everything).
On second thought . ...
Is it just me or do you all think Bill is acting a bit differently this week? Specifically he actually appears to be having a bit of fun with the media and is allowing his players to do the same (e.g. WR's saying they will be playing QB). Typically the guy is no-nonsense all business all the...
Well Josh may be young but he sure is smart. He has apparently decided to NOT interview this year for head coaching jobs.

I hope this is a trend for Patriots personnel for as long as the dynasty continues. It is likely being a member...
As much as I know it is likely any offensive or defensive coordinator's career goal (i.e. dream) to be a head coach I am wondering if there is any coordinator that would be happy with the success (i.e. winds and Lombardi's), money, and fame of being an instrumental part of a dynasty rather then...
I feel the Patriots Scouting program is a secret ingredient to their success. Rarely talked about in the media and few fans even talk about it much less understand the program behind it. Because the program is not openly discussed I'll offer why I think it is a secret ingredient to this...
Respectfully disagree. Play calling caused us to be in way too many 3rd and long situations. Just how many times did Welker or Faulk get the ball on a 3 yard dump and then have to grit out the next 5-8 yards to pick up the first. Several of those plays by Welker or Faulk weere could have...
Actually, just answered my own question. Rule states that the gunner is allowed to be blocked by the defense all the way down the field. However, if any other player goes out into the pattern then that is a normal pass play and interference can be called.
Best trick play I know of was one I actually was a part of in high school in the mid 80's.
Situation is 4th down.
Play is fake punt.
I being the punter, received the snap as usual ~15 yards behind center. Take a quick step as to punt but instead throw a high arcing pass to the gunner...
Re: Winning SuperBowl may cause a NFL monopoly
Maverick,
I give credit to Kraft first because he saw some genius in Belichick and also realized that Bill also realized that coaching in a salary-cap era would take considerable evaluation of talent and value of positions. Kraft negotiated to...
Here's why . . .
Patriots are a team that attracts players that want to win a ring. Veteran players from on the team itself as well as from the league have demonstrated they are willing to play for for the Patriots for less than market value.
So now the Patriots have a system in place...
The game was essentially locked up by halftime therefore I think Brady is entitled to try and reach new goals beyond just getting the win. Did Brady lock int Moss during the second half . . . of course he did. And he did it consciously. This offense is now just toying with their opponents...
This morning I traveled to NY and skimmed through the NY Post sports section. Both in the bettors line and in the standings their is a * next to the Patriots name. Below both sections it says *Cheaters. Needless to say I'll never pick up a NY Post again. Perhaps locals in NY find it funny, I...
I believe Bill and Tiger have the exact same career goals . . . and it is NOT to have a perfect season or win many super bowls.
When asked what his #wins goal was Tiger responded by saying his goal was not to win championships but rather "to be the best that ever played the game".
I...
All I know is I never ever want to see a patriot on the Victims list of http://www.yougotmossed.com. That would be gut wrenching knowing he used to be our hired assassin.
Pats will make him a fair offer.
