Okay, I'll say it - who are we signing/drafting?

Yes we need to get rid of Welker. I love the guy but we have too many of the same type of players on the team. Edelman, Woodhead and even Vereen can fill his type of role on short passing plays to create YAC. Aside from Gronk, we lack any imposing offensive player that can create seperation...

Could This Be What Goodell Really Wants? Part II - The Quickening

You guys are worrying about players like as if they were your personal friends. They are athletes who get paid MILLIONS of dollars to play a game they LOVE. How many of us can say that? And no i don't condone any player getting injured. How has it been hard? the Patriots are much better in the...

Could This Be What Goodell Really Wants? Part II - The Quickening

I don't get why everyone is so against expansion. I for one am totally for it. Stop acting like you guys have any sort of personal relationship with any of these NFL players. They are not your kids, they are not your family, they are not even your friends, they are just athletes we watch on TV...

Predict Pats biggest FA signing 2013

He is already unhappy when he lost his starting job to CK. What makes you think he will even remotely entertain the idea of riding the bench on the Patriots team. Besides that money could be used on something far more pressing like on defense or a WR.

Heading over from Australia for the Miami game

Jealous! Have a great time Harry

    New Era for defenses?

It's different now. When have you had 5 players (RG3, Wilson, Luck, Kaepernick, Cam Newton) who are very mobile yet accurate in the pocket at the same time?? I don't think its ever been done Remember i said mobile AND Accurate.

    New Era for defenses?

These new crop of mobile QB's are vastly different in that they are actually very good and accurate throwing the ball. Even If they weren't mobile all of these guys are pro bowl potential passers, the running game just gives them another element. Plus these guys with the exception of RG3 are...

    Brandon Lloyd - I dunno...

I agree to some extent. Lloyd is not a #1 WR, but he would make a terrific #2. Welker is not a true prototypical #1 but he is an elite slot receiver. So I guess you need to stop looking at Lloyd as our burner because he is not and you will see he is very productive.

    New Era for defenses?

RG3, Luck, Wilson, Kaepernick, the rising stars of the NFL. They all have one thing in common: mobility. In the next few years when they get more experience, they will be even more dangerous. We can also assume, since it is a copy cat league, we could very wrll see a slew of fast mobile qb's...

How is it that the Seahawks secondary is so good?

Good analysis. I too feel we are one player away in the secondary to be a force.

Brady goes off on the Team

Geez I am really not looking forward to his retirement wish he plays for 10 more years.

How is it that the Seahawks secondary is so good?

Do you guys also remember Nnamdi Asomugha? How did he go from #2 shutdown corner of the league with the raiders and then become mediocre/terrible with the eagles? The only thing changed was the system or philosophy for which whatever reason i believe did not cater to his strengths.
  13. C

How is it that the Seahawks secondary is so good?

They are the number 1 defense in the league as well as the #1 passing defense. How is that not good?
  14. C

How is it that the Seahawks secondary is so good?

Ike was a 4th round pick
  15. C

How is it that the Seahawks secondary is so good?

Yes we all know they are talented, but how did all of them with the exception of Thomas get passed up so many times?? It's the same with the steelers. With the exception of Polamalu they are all late picks.
  16. C

How is it that the Seahawks secondary is so good?

Exactly!!!! These guys are either super lucky in drafting or just know how to coach. Same with the steelers secondary.
  17. C

How is it that the Seahawks secondary is so good?

Their starting secondary: CB Sherman - 5th round CB Browner - UDFA SS Chancellor - 5th round FS Thomas - 1st round Most with under 2 years experience. A good defensive and CB coach can do wonders to coaching them up. That's why BB needs to find talented coaches outside his coaching tree. This...

Manning will be named MVP in the biggest travesty in award history

Makes me want to sign up in their forums to counter-argue, that guy is beyond delusional.

Manning will be named MVP in the biggest travesty in award history

Anyone visit the Broncos forums? They have a thread similar to this started by "LoserSlick" the biggest Manning homer i ever read. I don't mind why they believe Manning should win, which is fine because they are Broncos fans but my goodness some of them are just clueless especially "LoserSlick"...

    Brady's numbing greatness

Great video. Man we are so lucky to be Patriots fans right now.
