I posted this in another thread but I think it desrves it's own. I have found that these guys are generally on the money with their picks and predictions. Always a good read.

Well if you don't like SI picking us to win the SB, maybe 2008 Pro Football Prospectus picking us will make you feel better. They say 99% chance we will win at least 11 games and their computer model which ran through the season 10,000 times has us winning the most games this year as well. They also have us winning the SB.

Here's a video clip of editor Aaron Schantz discussing their picks for 2008 on ESPN's First take:

Thanks for the link. I saw the video and it was cool.

10 000 times? Wow. If only they knew who was going to be on the team...

But if they said the Patriots would not make it past the first round of the playoffs and the Colts would win the SB then they would suck right? :banned:

Maybe in your eyes but I purchase and read this thing regardless.

99% chance that the Pats win at least 11 games. In over 10,000 simulations they win an average of 12.8 times. Nice. That's pretty much what I expected, but it's nice to hear Football Prospectus thinks the same way.

Thanks for the link....I like what I see.
