Foxboro cops: Pats' Chandler Jones sought medical help early Sunday

I'm gonna go with the Goodell assassins vs. Belichick/Jones/Gronk story. It seems like the most logical story supported by the most evidence. Here's how I think it went down:

1. First wave of assassins easily dispatched by the boys, though Bill did take one in the eye because, let's face it, he is getting a bit old for this s***.

2. Second wave gives up quickly and flees. Bill enacts the Golden Goose Protocol and orders Ernie Adams to get his black ops team to the Brady/Bundchen residence ASAP to be safe.

3. Jones heads to the local police and informs them of the attempted assault and resulting beatdown. Authorities refer him to the hospital for a minor katana-based injury and head to his house to "secure the residence." (i.e. check out the crime scene)

4. Gronk lets no man get away from him; he hunts the assassins down and ultimately catches them in central New York calling Mike Kensil from a payphone giving him the "bad news" to give to Roger. He disposes of them quickly, but it takes him a little while to get back to MA so he misses practice.

I'm pretty sure this is what happened.
It's an explanation I can live with.

People should probably stop joking around about this. I can't see this ending well for all parties involved.

Dude deleted the tweet, and put up a new one without Gronks name in it.

Agreed. When you combine everything (including his brother's problem) it doesn't look good. I'll get a few dislikes for this but, whatever, if Jones is released or traded this offseason we'll save $7.8M with no cap hit. So . . .

It's verified and has 36 thousand followers. It's not a fake account.

Wait how many Followers? I would think they have quite a few more twitter followers than 36k!!

OD really? Wtf dude always some ****.

If this was just isolated to Chandler that would be bad enough but manageable in terms of a meltdown. But with Belichick's black eye and Gronk being gone for the day this is way more worrying.

This cant be a serious post right? Has this board gone off the deep end?

If the herald never posted the story, no one would even know. Hes been at practice. And gronk probably had a personal matter or had a rest day

Gronk missing from practice Chandler overdosing on pills, something happened.

The team did well last year when faced with controversy.

Chill the **** out. Where is there any freaking indication that Belichick's black eye is related to this story? Seriously get a grip before spouting something like that.

As for the potential OD...yeah it is unfortunate and going to be something of a distraction and a news story. IDK about the Gronk thing but hopefully it was untrue and unrelated. That would be of greater concern. Glad that Chandler is OK first of all. Hopefully Chandler can get that problem sorted out IF true. Hate to hear about substance abuse if it is something he is struggling with as opposed to simply a night of wild partying gone wrong.

If the OD rumors are true, I'm just praying for Chandler right now, not worried about the rest. Accidental I'd hope.

Edit: When I say accidental I mean like he accidentally took an extra dose of a prescribed medication. I'd hate to think he is abusing drugs.

Chandler ODs. People call Bill for help. He tries to help CJ move but an involuntary muscle movement catches Bill in the left eye. After some back and forth, Bill says the best you can do is turn yourself in. Bill asks Norwood chief to delete the records.

"The Wolf" is alive and well.

Is this what you are thinking? C'mon dude.

There goes another draft pick...
