As someone said he had foot sugery not hand surgery. Appreciate the tds last playoffs but those were perfectly thrown balls.

Talk about Big and Soft......the very definition of Scott Chandler.

I was very happy when they signed him and now I wish we could get our money back.

He played in 15 games and caught 25 passes for 259. The last 10 games he caught 13 passes for 137 yards. The last 4 games.....not a single pass catch.

We save a little over $2M in cap costs next year if we cut him (not including replacement cost).

Is there any reason to keep him and spend that much of our precious cap space in 2016?

Preach brother preach I have very high hopes for AJ Derby who had redshirt year and maybe a draft pick. See ya and Scott and don't let the door hit ya where the dog shoulda bitt ya.

In retrospect sanders turned out to be the better WR than Lafell

Hmmm... sounds like this guy...

...and he can't catch for crap either.

Seriously I didn't think Sanders was good as he's playing. Sanders turned out to be way better than Mike Wallace too I cannot figure out why he was so under used in Pittsburgh. I guess he was late bloomer.

I wanted sanders badly

Just look at the separation he gets...would be perfect for a 38 year old QB like tom Who can hit any open receiver

Yeah, but the way the referees called our games this year, he would have led the league in OPI penalties. :)

Here's hoping for Jermaine Kearse or Marvin Jones via Free Agency...Kearse plays alot like Julian and Danny not afraid to go over the middle. And Marvin Jones is what we all thought Dobson would be.

Brandon regressed this year

Not what any of us wanted to see

I am the only one who thought Bryan Stork regressed some at Center? I thought Andrews played the position better at pass blocking. In the Playoffs I would start Andews at Center and play Stork in the rotation at Guard.

Recovering from an injury LaFell is your usual 3rd or 4th option going against the #1 CB.. the results are predictable.

Yes he did but they've moved him around quite a bit.

LeFell was never a deep threat. It's a mistake to throw bombs to him and Chandler.

I think people are overrating everybody on the early season OL due to how quickly Brady was able to get rid of the ball when his receivers were healthy. I don't think Mason and Kline massively regressed or that Stork is worse than Andrews. I think they're all being asked to do way more now, so of course the failure rate is going to be higher.

chandler's a goner. BB failed again looking for the complimentary TE to gronk

I'd put Dion Lewis as the most surprising. He was just a name on a list of nobodies until the first game and then he was the best RB the Pats have had in a decade.
Better than Dillon?

They're even to me. Dillon would just bury you out there. Lewis will make you miss. Both these guys are the best Pats RBs of the decade... (All time is probably Cunningham).

Stork came in late and has had to play with the revolving door plan this year. He's clearly not playing all that well, but this 2 week stretch may allow the Patriots to focus on one OL lineup, which should help a lot.

Vollmer
Shaq "T-Rex" Mason
Stork
Kline or Jackson
Cannon or Waddle

Tom Brady labels Brandon LaFell 'toughest' teammate

I love it when fans call players fickle and expect them to take a hometown discount sometimes. If anything fans are just as fickle if not more so. (See this board after the Chiefs game last year)

You just quoted Brady from last year. People are talking about Lafell from THIS year. For whatever reason(s), this year's Lafell has been just a shadow of last man's Lafell, and that includes any toughness comparisons.

Also, pointing to last year's nadir really isn't the place to go when bagging on the fans, because that game was such a train wreck that the G.O.A.T. got pulled.

Scott Chandler has a few seasons under his belt with close to 700 yards and 50+ catches in a terrible offense (relatively speaking). On this team, I expected he would equal or surpass those numbers. with all the double teams focused on JE and RG i am surprised Chandler didn't find more seams with the lessor LB/S on him.
