The Broncos have a lot of dough tied up in Ware, Talib and Manning for them not to show up for the Patriots game. If I were a Broncos fan, I'd be very nervous about this one.

The Broncos just lost to the Colts, the Chiefs at home, and barely squeaked one out against the Bears. They are ripe to be had.

Talib didn't appear on the injury report all week, and we haven't heard one bit of information from any news outlet suggesting anything at all. As a matter of fact he's given interviews, etc.

The only thing I can think of is that Talib did have a concussion around this time last season, so maybe that's what @Gumby is referencing. He may have pulled up an old article or something. I'll be interested to see if he has some kind of info that I didn't hear of, but I'm thinking it's a mistake.

I believe DA is listed as Questionable (per NFL scrolling headline)

Even if Amendola is active, how successful does anyone think he can be?? Bad knees are bad knees and receivers such as him and Edelman rely on their quickness... so to risk further injury is probably not wise.

So we are down to 3 RB's, 3 WR's and 4 TE's..... not a lot of options, time for this team to be creative.. we are a lot thin at those positions.

While I agree that Amendola wouldn't be the same, just having him for 75% would be a game changer. He was on pace for 12-13 catches last week, so I'd happily take 8-9 this week.

Even if he only caught a few balls, he'd still be drawing coverage, which is just as important. It's hard to imagine any type of successful offensive game plan without him. They're obviously going to double Gronk, and I don't believe we can successfully run the ball (hope I'm wrong). That is going to leave Harris Jr on LaFell, which will force Brady to go to guys like Martin and Harper.

Amendola playing would be huge in this situation.

That's just what the Pats officially listed him as yesterday after a limited practice.

Jeff Howe reported last night that he would not be making the trip to Denver today, then updated his story around 10:00 pm stating that they'll give him one last look before the flight leaves.

He hasn't played a decent game yet for the Broncos all year, so no loss there.

So far from this thread I've learned that both Danny Amendola and Aqib Talib may or may not play in Sunday Night's game.

If they do that Harper/Martin will put up 250 yards of offense on the fact that no one else will be near them.

exactly, Gronk will be triple covered. Harper, Martin, Lafell and Chandler should have a lot of yards provided brady gets protection. I think we can do it, but it all depends on the protection.

I have no expectations for the game.
Going into a tough environmemt with a crippled offense and our best linebacker on the shelf.

On Monday the unit was embarassed and Brady was roughed up.

Making sure neither happen again was priority 1,2 and 3 this past week.

They are too good of a team for that.

Look at the bright side.... Not much film on harper and Martin. Wouldn't be surprised if BB, McDaniels, and Brady cooked some special playbook just for this game's offensive roster. Some formations and routes that no one had seen from the Pats this season.
