Having a healthy o line will really ease the loss of Edelman. Great news.

As for Collins, we had a bug go through my office. People were sick for weeks because this flu went straight to their lungs. Took them over 3 weeks to completely recover after rounds of antibiotics for the bronchitis it caused. So that's my guess of what's going on. I haven't had the flu in 3 years, but it's not something you forget. When its the TRUE flu, it knocks you on your ass bad and lingers.

As much of a bummer as Collins' absence is, getting three starting linemen back is pretty huge. Based on this, the Pats should finally have the freedom to feature Gronk in the passing game again.

He's getting over a supposed nasty viral infection.
Poor bastard. Shaking those things is so frustrating. Can't get back to normal for weeks.

collins is rumored to be out another week. even if he is over the flu he needs to regain his muscle mass. you can't just insert him into the lineup.

Damn still no Collins...

I posted this earlier, but it's worth the repost.

I wanna see other other guys step up besides the usual suspects. If we get someone to be consistency from one of dobson, martin, or chandler then this offense will be much better if edelman comes back.

I am not worried about collins. Just have him ready for the donkeys

Excellent. Without Edelman, Brady may not be able to get the ball out in 2 seconds or less as consistently as he did at the beginning of the season. The VaGiants were getting pressure on him when he had to hold the ball so it's good that the OL is rounding back into form.

Thats the issue.

If he is out vs BUF he'll be winded vs DEN regardless.

If it's true that his virus is in his lungs, playing 60 snaps in a high altitude will not be possible

He'll also have a problem if hydration has been an issue as you need to drink a ton before you are in a higher elevation.

I think being available for Denver is in jeopardy if he is out vs BUF.

What I think is funny is the pundits and others seem to feel that the offensive line is in dire straits. With them all back healthy they are down 1...1 lineman who while good isn't all pro. Big whoop. This line was bound to get healthy at some point and then what? The experience that Stork and others got will be invaluable as the season goes along.
