ESPN Writer Compares Greg Hardy Supporters To Patriots Fans Who Defended Tom Brady In DeflateGate

There were a handful of people just like LLBB defending Hernandez, and at least one positing that he was framed, I'm pretty sure.
Actually, I think you are right with that one. We have some real loonies here. All types of idiots.

Well, 50% is ok I guess.......Dude, Larry Bird told Magic that he wanted Jackie Macmullan to author their book. I think those two could have had anyone they wanted.

Hackie MacMullen? The same one who sh*ts on the Patriots to score points with ESPN? You really want to use her to support an argument for gender equality in sports writing?

Look, I've already wasted more time on this than is reasonable. There were a handful of people just like LLBB defending Hernandez, and at least one positing that he was framed, I'm pretty sure. Believe me or don't, I don't care.

The point is that we have our dipshits, too.

Every fanbase has their dipshits.

However, dipshit isn't usually the majority opinion. If you go to a Cowboys board, you'll see that for yourself, that dipshit is their majority opinion.

Not aware of her ESPN contributions as I never watch the show. I was just quoting one of Boston's greatest athletes. I may have been wrong, but my error was tame compared to your gender statement.

I won't argue that, mostly because I hate Cowboys fans. :)

My point is, trying to say "3% of the Patriots Fanbase" is the same as "70% of the Cowboys Fanbase" is a false equivalence in every sense of the phrase.

************, I never even implied anything like this. I replied to this post:

"We defended brady because he didn't do anything wrong. Want to see how patriots feel about violent criminals? Look for one defense post about aaron hernandez."

I already proved that I'm right. For some reason, people are inordinately offended by the notion that not every single Pats fan is a ****ing Rhodes Scholar.

They are the biggest bunch of self entitled arse holes on the planet, completely oblivious to the fact that it has now been 2 full decades since they were last relevant.

My favorite thread over there is the one where they argue whether they would rather beat New England or Pittsburgh in the Super Bowl. This thread was started when they were 2-4.

What that women sports writers are terrible? Sports writers in general are terrible. Most of them are revolting slimeballs. What sort of woman would even want to pursue a career in a sh*t field like that?

Goodell sees what Hardy and Brady allegedly did as comparable in terms of punishment, so she has "the Shield" to back up her filthy comparison. If you think this is outlandish, there was actually a TV show over the Summer (Mr Robot?) who compared Tom Brady to Bill Cosby.

How does he feel about Greg Hardy?

Roger Staubach: I'm still rooting for the Cowboys, but not Greg Hardy

Why doesn't the media and fans focus on the enablers - owners that sign such players?

My Congressman is prepared to give Goodell and the NFL Hell: Congressman Wants To Review NFL Domestic Violence Policies In Wake Of Greg Hardy Photos

I'm suddenly a big fan of Michael Burges (R - Texas)

After all this fallout from the pictures of Hardy's victim, I'm a little surprised that the guy that oversaw Hardy's appeal has escaped the outrage. I know that someone here posted his bio, but why arent the major media outlets hammering this guy?

This Hardy business is disgusting. It also proves that we were right...the NFL was biased against Brady for no reason other than they wanted to be.

Your congressman is

a.) A shameless panderer
b.) An idiot
c.) Both a and b

His hoop earrings and swastika-looking tribal face paint just piss me off that much more in addition to the obvious reasons.

As a matter of principle, I don't read (1) ESPN or (2) women sports writers so I really can't comment.
You ought to give Sally Jenkins a try some time...
