It was the same garbage as last year. It was just slightly hotter garbage for a few weeks this year.

Yeah I also think they lack the fire power of the AFC powers. Also Brees and Ryan in their division.

So up 23 points with 8 minutes left isn't garbage time?

I call it a team trying to protect a lead in garbage time taking the foot off the gas and almost having a meltdown. If you have over a three score lead with 8 minutes left in the game it is garbage time. It still doesn't prevent a team from melting down and giving away the game.

If the Panthers lost today, it wouldn't be the first time a team lost a game protecting a big lead in garbage time. It happens, but it is rare.

They shut down the Packers' offense for the most part for 52 minutes and let them go on fire for 8 minutes.

Ya but they got found out when TB went into their place and beat them last week and also the Redskins taking them to OT in their dome.
