Nice try NFL I see you soon right through you.

Trying to write a fluff piece and get on Tom's good side to slow down the Tom Brady FU Tour 2015.

Sorry chaps, it isn't gonna work.

I think the NFL brief was more than enough to make sure Brady doesn't ease off the gas pedal.

This honestly seems to make the most sense.

This.

The article is released the same day that they file a brief where they double-down on the smear? Seems legit.

The thing that the media hasn't come to grips with yet is HOW MUCH BRADY is than ANYONE ELSE historically. Not just in the playoffs but the regular season.

This wikipedia page which is updated weekly is for NFL QN wins.

List of most wins by a National Football League starting quarterback - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Go there and then sort by winning percentage it is a real eye opener. If the Pats win on Thursday against Miami, Brady will have 50 more regular season wins than Joe Montana with the same number of losses. Montana is number 3 all time winning % behind Staubach and Brady.

Rogers is #5 in winning % he has 14 fewer losses than Brady but 90 fewer wins than Brady.

Rothlesberger is # 7 all time be has 6 more losses than Brady and 58 fewer wins.

Farve, the leader currently in all time wins has 20 more wins than Brady but 65 losses.

Brady is FAR SUPERIOR to any other QB in the history of the game, PERIOD.

Manning still reigns in the stats. Brady needs to lose the next 30 games just to tie Manning's losses.

Wow that is dedication!

...
I have no trouble avoiding it either Online or On The Air, except when it's the only source of a game I want to watch and I regretfully must become part of a captive audience.

Otherwise, I treat it the same way most (real) NYC Sports fans treat the YES Network (The NY Yankees' Network, derisively referred to as Al Yankzeera by knowledgeable fans down here)....I think of it as the mouthpiece of the Yankees organization and choose not to watch it unless it's the only way I can view a game I want to see. Same with Al Rogerzeera.

They can go F themselves. As soon as Tom is done, I am done with this league forever. I will always see Tom's records as him taking a leak all over the NFL. I just hope BB and Brady can cause an infinite amount of suffering and misery for every one of those SOBs in the league office, as well as the other 31's owners and miserable ***** fans.

Get off the bandwagon, NFL.com, Chadiha, and everyone else who suddenly wants in. We don't want you.
I grew up watching Y.A. Title and Del Shofner and when the Pats were born, Babe Parilli, Leon Gray and everyone in between. From where I sit TB12 is the very best. But would I ever stop watching when he retires? Never in my life. I'm a Brady fan, a Belichick fan but even more I'm a PATSFAN

The first NFL game I ever saw in person was the Philadelphia Eagles 1960 NFL Championship team (the Eagles' last League title, BTW) with too many future HOFer's on the field and sidelines to remember them all, but suffice it to say that Norm Van Brocklin was QB and Chuck Bednarik played 60 minutes as Center and Linebacker.

So, I agree with you in the sense that I will always be an NFL fan....BUT, it will never be the same for me after watching what Goodell and the Owners have tried to do to the Patriots and Brady, whose only real "crime" was winning too many Divisional, Conference and League titles in the age of parity, which was supposed to put an end to Dynasties and enable the Owners to placate their fans and local media by telling them, "No one can dominate anymore....just be happy with winning the Division ever five or six years and maybe getting to a CCG or SB every 10--15 years."

I'll still watch, but the enthusiasm and almost childlike admiration of the game will be gone for me. To me now, it's just another big business with big dollars and big egos. I was probably naive ever to think it was anything else.

The only thing Brady is now working on cementing is "greatest player" of all time

It's standard playing both sides. They'll keep smearing Brady in court with a bunch of innuendo and clearly false accusations, and the moment anyone accuses them of having it out for Brady they (or their sycophants) can turn around and say "but look at this glowing article that was put on NFL.com about Brady!"

Oh no doubt. Wouldn't be surprised if they constantly pat each other on the back for their "genius" strategic moves they always hit us with
