Real-time info for you... @gregaiello says league ops did go to sideline to investigate and took a photo of what Roethlisberger was handling
Well, if the NFL minister of propaganda says it, it must be true.
We can also just look at the obvious:
It bends and has vanishing buttons that also warp shape and change position.

Tom E. Curran: "On Friday morning, the NFL’s Director of AFC Communications, Jon Zimmer responded to my email inquiry saying, “Roethlisberger was holding a black armband with a clear cover that contained the Steelers play sheet. It was not a phone.”

Mike Florio: "Team spokesman Burt Lauten tells PFT that Roehtlisberger was consulting his black, plastic wristband that contains the play calls for the game. Roethlisberger kept the wristband in his sweatshirt, removing the device throughout the game to examine it."
^^^^The NFL and the Steelers say that these are the same thing

The size of Vick's armband and the supposed one Roethlisberger is looking at are far different in size. Take a look, and also notice the volume up & down buttons on Roethlisberger's device.
Greg Aiello also stated there was never, not ever, no, none, never happened holding on THIS play...so, yeah, gotta go with the Aiello Minister of Info for sure...
Yeah, look how long it took Ted Wells to report there was no conclusive scientific evidence, yet something more probably than not happened and Brady was generally aware of it.Ok I would probably slow down on the whole "We've identified the make/model/submodel of the phone based on that 5 second clip and pictures!" trip
