Well when I was in school no one was there for academic reasons. We were all there either to play football or party. https://twitter.com/Lyle1427/status/645383881839919104…

Breer sucks at beer pong.

Busted for pissing in public ... sheesh ... would have been multiple cumulative life terms for me.

Is he related to Orville???
If you've gone to college, chances are you''ve done a lot worse than what he got arrested for...Just saying.....

People have done a lot worse than "more probably than not being at least generally aware" of the Ideal Gas Law doing to footballs what Breer has accused Tom Brady of doing (with zero direct evidence) for the past 8 months.

So, no, I have zero intention of being kind to Mr. Breer. He doesn't deserve it.

Anyhoo, that tweet contained his own words tonight - - pretty stupid to tweet that out knowing he had that record in the background. Schadenfreude as comedy.

Yeah, it's pretty easy to party hard and work harder, especially when you're 18-21 and sleeping 4 hours a night is weirdly sustainable and hangovers basically don't exist to you.

That said, this is one of the dumber arrests I've ever seen. The guy may be an idiot, but I can't muster up any kind of moral outrage over pissing in public.

Neither is being more probably than not at least generally aware of the Ideal Gas Law. He's spent 8 months tearing apart someone for that. He's a hypocrite.

I couldn't care less that Jimmy Swaggert paid some woman to dance around his hotel room. It was about the same level as Breer's. Still, hypocracy is hypocracy.

My parents moved to Columbus when I was 14, so I naturally went with them, and thus had to transfer from UCLA to OSU. This was upsetting for a variety of reasons.

But there were some interesting classes to be had at OSU. Classes in my majors were meh, but I did get into 3 good grad schools and get offered 3 good fellowships, so they weren't catastrophic. (I chose an NSF fellowship at Harvard over a much bigger grant at Chicago.) And classes in a couple of humanities areas really shone; I think about what I learned there in philosophy and history of science all the time. In general, at a university that big one can usually find some good stuff.

School like OSU, of course, also do a huge amount of job training for their respective states. That's pretty much the original purpose of the land-grant law. A large fraction of doctors, dentists, veternarians, teachers, lawyers et al. for the region come out of there.

Yes, I lived in Columbus for awhile as well, and have always felt that OSU was a fairly respectable school. I'm not comparing it to some of the excellent institutions that are surrounding the Boston area, but all in all, there's nothing wrong with Ohio State University.

On another note--how about that BU study that showed the CTE from 87/91 previous NFL players? I actually saw it on the news here in Pittsburgh tonight. Could be an eye opener for sure.

I'm guessing the comment made by @shmessy was just to point out the irony of Breer's tweet, and to pile on his sorry ass for some of the stupid comments made regarding Brady.

Other than that, I have no issue with his past transgressions, if you'd even call it that. To be completely honest, I had never even heard of Breer's run in with the piss police.

That said, we're out for blood around here, so it's open season on anyone who ran their mouth about ball deflation :)

My real question would be for the guys who have never pissed in public. GTFOOH? SERIOUSLY? It's not possible, unless you have no life.
Or no kidneys...

That's pretty much it.

Screw the sanctimonious Breer.

Of course.

Have enough brains left not to do it on a cop's shoes.

He must have been "more probably than not at least generally aware" of the police officer getting hit by his backsplash.

Back in my day, I used to be a "wicked pissah" in the outdoors. Honestly who gives a flying F

Back in 1985, I was 25 and finishing grad school and living on Comm Ave in Brighton. 4 of us were sitting on the stoop drinking a beer when I put my beer down and went upstairs to empty the kidneys, I came back to find my three friends in handcuffs. An overzealous police sergeant decided to arrest anyone drinking in public, a common occurrence. Two of the guys were EMTs for the city and he still would not cut them any slack..I had to bail them out and there but "by the grace of G-d" it could have been me. It would have been uncomfortable having to explain to my residency why I needed a day off to go to court for an arrest....
The one time in my life I didn't use nature as my bathroom, thankfully....
At least unlike Breer, I'm not self-righteous about everything...

These days public urination gets you a spot on the sex offender registry and a housing ban from any school zones.

One great thing about going to a football school is that you have great football. When I was at A&M, got to see LSU, FSU, Missouri, ND, Okie, Arkansas, Michigan and the SWC foes. Obviously, with 40k young people there was a lot of opportunity to party. To say no one went for an education, I think is a bit of an exaggeration.

Unfortunately for Breer that was his best work to date.

So Breer finally copped to his drunken bi curious glory hole exploits?:D:eek:
