This thread is great. But I will say some of you have more strength (if that's even the right word) than me because I don't go to ANY other boards. I read two or three on the Steelers link, and then I just closed it. People talk all the time about the damages that media actually does in "reporting" things, but they still run with every story that agrees with whatever agenda they have at the outset. It's brainwashing at its best. It is amazing to me that with so many other stories of teams cheating, NOBODY talks about anyone but the Pats. I was going to say thanks to ESPNFL, but I'll say thanks to SUCCESS. The more hate that comes my way, the more I know my team is winning. So hate hate hate.

So are the Colts renouncing their Super Bowl win due to cheating? Multiple bad calls by the refs that favored the Colts, the most egregious being the non called DPI in the end zone that would have given the Pats a 1st and goal at the one with less than 2 minutes left in the game. Pats run some time off the clock, score a TD instead of kicking the FG and there is no game winning drive by PM.

As for myself, I will use the salt from their tears to rim my margarita glass, and revel in their pathetic attempts to place the blame for their defeats on anyone or anything but their own team.

It is a delicious thing, as we were all once where they now are, but rode the storm of defeat and mediocrity with better grace than they will ever understand.
