Goodell on Mike & Mike Tomorrow

Hard to express how much I hate that that ******* gets a forum to spew his nonsense.

First off, they will be kissing his ass and tossing him softballs. Secondly, I don't know why ANY Pat's fan would listen to this. It's not like Goodouchebag will have a change of heart. He's just gonna be regurgitating the same old ********. Not worth listening to.

Just more NFL spin, with a bunch of bobble heads nodding up and down while repeating 'You are right Mr. Commissioner' 'That is quite insightful Mr. Commissioner'. And never once asking any hard questions. And if they do they don't argue with the answers. They just nod up and down!

Not only that, but Greenberg is a big Jets fan. That will make it worse.

In time, it will be interesting to see when the rats start to jump

Goodell is damaged goods.......if there's a smell, someone is going to want to be the first one on top of it......even at ESPN........

If RG this appealing why go on a talk show and talk about the case?
Maybe he is dropping the appeal.
If not, he better be very careful he doesn't say something the NFLPA can use.

This case is effectively over it really doesn't matter what he says he's just going through the motions of an appeal to look tough

I am not going to tune in, Goodell has not earned my attention. On the other hand, if he does a come-to-Jesus moment, confess his deceits and lies, then I might watch a replay. But I have a very low expectation of that happening.

He does, however, have to explain his absence from the opening game, and this appears to be the optimum spot to try to restore some modicum of dignity to his office, as I expect Mike and Mike to tee them up for the commissioner to hit. But I doubt that there will be any bombs or home runs, he just doesn't have the skills to do so. Like others on this thread have suggested, he will resort to his mantras and say nothing that we didn't already know.

I also expect his pique to start showing, especially if any question is not squarely on the T. He has all the traits of a spoiled brat, one who almost always gets his own way. Brady has bloodied his nose and I doubt that he knows how to accept defeat with any form of grace.

Any chance he makes a statement?

1) We're reviewing our processes
2) We're dropping the appeal
3) We'll consider reinstating the ball boys
Or, the real biggie:
4) We'll reconsider the team penalties (hey, as long as I'm dreaming, might as well dream a total fantasy)

Another good reason to miss a show I never watch.

:D

"Welcome to the show. Why should we believe a single word that comes oozing out of your ****ing mouth after you've been proven to be a liar on multiple occasions?"

where is mort??????????? is he breathing??

if mike/mike had any integrity they'd ask adolf about our draft picks!

Does he usually go on ESPN opening week of the nfl? If this is unusual maybe this is his chance to show some integrity and correct some wrongs and say he is not going through with the appeal.

Well that would require humility and self reflection which takes a type of skillset that will forever evade Goodell

Any what makes you think ANY of his answers wouldnt be a total lie?

They're probably throw him a super softball to make sure SOMETHING is truthful. "Hi, Roger -- how's the weather where you are?"

Sad that Goodell will forever evade the skillet.

Why is he even bothering with ESPN, though? The NFL own their own freaking satellite channel that has 24/7 NFL talk. If he wants a propaganda fest, why not do it on Channel 88?

And after a summer of very sporadic listening, I will be cancelling my SiriusXM NFL package. I enjoy the sport, but hate the complete scumbags that call all of their shows.

I think we will hear integrity of the game and protect the shield a few times.
