I Had a Dream

He beat redskins, raiders, Eagles, Rams & Lions. The one good team he beat were the Cowboys.

The Lions were a playoff team and the Eagles were 10-6.

It was about the 2016 Superbowl. The Patriots defeated the Seahawks by 20 points. Time comes for the trophy presentation. Kraft and Brady are on the podium. Goodell walks up with the trophy and offers it to Kraft. Kraft takes it, then Brady decks Goodell. The stadium erupts in cheers.

Please stop dreaming, Brady could break his hand.

They were both 4-4 on the road.

Look at the teams they beat and lost to. What I'm trying to say is that there are good winning teams and bad winning teams. The Ravens are a good winning team. The Eagles and lions aren't.

You're doing an awful lot of nitpicking to try to discount the fact that Carson Palmer was having a career year before he got hurt. Hell, the team made the playoffs without him.

If he's healthy, there's no reason to believe they're not a legitimate Super Bowl contender.

NFL Defensive rankings for 2014:
http://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2014/opp.htm

They had a 5th ranked defense last year so Palmer doesn't have to be Brady like for the team to go far.

Dallas is not the best example because Romo was out that week. (Kind of supports your argument)

Anyways, I think you could comfortably put Arizona on the contenders list. If Palmer stays healthy could make the playoffs as a wild card.

They do have a tough schedule this year though. They were ranked 5th toughest schedule this year.

I don't deny he had a good year but a part of that is the competition he faced. I'm just looking at it holistically. Matt Cassel had great years in 2008 & 2009 but I wouldn't trust him either. I just think QBing is more than just numbers. I don't think Palmer makes the best decisions.

Relying on Palmer is like relying on the 2009 patriots D to make a 3rd down stop. He hasn't been good consistently since 10 years ago.

He doesn't have a contract to sign though so his knees are fine.

We all know it'll be the Giants...it's their time again, remember. ;)

I think the way the Packers lost last year will be a valuable lesson. There's no way that they'll go conservative again. It's the same hard lesson that Cowher learned.

I had a dream last week that the Patriots won the AFCCG and signed me for the Super Bowl.

The strangest part of the dream is that our Super Bowl opponent was..... wait for it.... The Baltimore Ravens. (??)

I think Aaron Rodgers has a lot of Peyton in him, is what I think.

All you people talking about who we're going to play in the Super Bowl are clearly forgetting 2016 is a leap year. I won't even say the team's name, I'm sure you can figure it out.

Mine was a little different, but also had a Game Of Thrones theme. Patriots up by 4 with seconds to go, Seattle ball on the 1 yard line, stadium chanting Beast Mode Beast Mode and Wilson takes the snap and OH F.CK, SAY IT AIN'T SO, THEY DID IT AGAIN, MALCOLM BUTLER WITH THE INTERCEPTION, OH MY F.CKING GOD I CAN'T BELIEVE IT..........

Belichick takes the Lombardi and offers Gödel a swig of champagne, moments later, as Gödel goes to hand Brady the MVP, he starts to clutch his throat, then falls to the ground gaspng for air, too late, he's turning purple and dying while Troy Vincent shrieks like a little girl in the background asking security to arrest Brady for poisoning his commissioner.........

You really had to give me my first thumbs down because I thought Fonzi's jacket was funny? I don't mean to be sensitive, but the first kick in the nuts is a surprise and unexpected from you. Really?

I don't know what you are talking about, if I gave you it then it was accidental and I will try to find it and wipe it out.

Let me know the thread and post number and I will undo it when I get a chance later.

Ok, cool. Sometimes I write controversial remarks, but that may have been the most passive comment I have ever written, so I was taken aback. Plus, It's the weekend amd I have started boozing already. It's amazing how much an anonymous blog can effect one's mood.

Wake up, seahawks wont be in the SB, i expect the cowboys.

That would make a Pats victory a lot sweeter.

For some completely illogical notion, some Cows homers online have nothing better to do than spew hatred at the Pats using bandwidth reserved for Jets fans. If - if there is any sense to this, they (and 49ers fans) are scared the Pats are going to match their SB trophies at five. It's so painful to some of these Cows the obvious parallels to Landry and Staubach they mentally gouge their eyes out and go into Area 51/UFO conspiracy theories of a cheating machine that hundreds of player and coaches have made a perfect secret the past 15 years. o_O
