sadly pathetic version
according to gary myers:
Goodell and Kraft sat next to each other for 4 1/2 hours today in LA committee meeting in Chicago hotel. Yes, they spoke.

I WOULD CUT MY BOTH HANDS if i was a fan who applauded him in training camp. Bob being Bob. ****ed his own coach in Spygate, then whole team and fans in deflategate.

I just threw up just a little in the back of my throat.

Hard to believe we'll be getting anything credible as to what transpired at the meeting anytime soon. Any discussion of matters related to Footballs Obeying the Laws of Physics-Gate will be deemed top secret/ultra confidential by Commissioner Scheisskopf who will then proceed to shape the public narrative by lying out his ass and leaking whatever falsehoods suit his twisted purposes.

Amazing reference Zeus.

Anyone not familiar with Catch-22 should Google this. Even if you are familiar with Catch-22 but don't know German go ahead, good laugh here.

No question it fits PERFECTLY.

Commissioner Scheisskopf it is...

Somehow It does not take four and one half hours to say Eff you and the horse you rode in on. I wonder how long it took before Bob was on his knees.

Bob is in a very difficult situation. As Jerry Jones alluded to, he is the one who has been going over to the others and telling them to take it for the good of the league. I am sure he has exulted the excellent job the Commissioner was doing to many of these owners who have been on the wrong side. Dallas, Miami, etc.
So he is caught between a rock and a hard place.

Are we to feel sorry for Kraft because he is a terrible judge of character and was played for a fool by Goodell. Sorry, my feelings are with the Pats and their fans who have been penalized by his actions

before i rip into bob again i want to hear what was said or see what comes of it. but i have a feeling i'm going to be putting my sig picture of 'batlin bob kraft' shmoozing at an nfl get together with his little blong squeeze and JZ. with the caption 'i only care about the fans"

Gary Meyers of the NY Daily News?

That is not a difficult situation to be in.
It is a self-inflicted situation. It is a situation that requires no more than owning up to his own mistakes.
Please let's not call admitting you were wrong, when the world knows it, being between a rock and a hard place.

Sometimes that's what it takes for people to find the strength to admit they were wrong.

"I was wrong to my faith and trust in the league."

Doesn't that translate to, "Goodell is a liar?"

I mean, those are very strong words.

So what happened today?

Is this guy Myers guy attached to Goodells hip? He's gotten everything related to Goodell in this **** show... Everything he says is with a Goodell bias watch out

Is there anyone in the world left who would disagree with that statement?

So was there any "leaks" that came out of this meeting about Kraft and Goddell besides that they spoke?

I still don't think Kraft believes Goodell is the problem. He was just misled by his subordinates. As long as that blind spot exists, the Pats and their fans are screwed.
