So vincent and kensil were already heading down when grigson came according to grigson wheras vincent says he only knew this once grigson told him.
How is this not big deal ??? I hope PFT and others catch this!

Another layer in the web of Ravens/Colts lies...

In the Wells Report, Sean Sullivan tells Wells that it's well known around the league that the Patriots doctor footballs. Wells asks where he's heard this and Sullivan can't supply any sources or examples. Wells doesn't explore that topic any further in the report.

From the emails above, we know where Sullivan heard the "well known" rumor, from the Ravens Special Teams coach. Sullivan then lies to Wells in his interview.

Also, Wells knew about Grigson's email to the league. Did he see the version above or an edited version without Sullivan's email? If he saw the version above, then he knew Sullivan was lying, but ignored it and included Sullivan's cover story in his report.

@Batman please explain your dislike"?

Didn't even know I had hit dislike, I was 1am on my phone trying to not wake the wife but needed to read what was happening. I have been and removed it.

Those are exactly the kind of attempts to lie as a group that get exposed during questioning. Only one slip up lets the entire house of lies collapse. Which is also why it is a big deal that Brady answered under oath. He knows there is no cover up and thus there is also no danger of being caught in a lie.

So the Colts say that it is well known around the league that the Pats tamper with footballs, but can't explain where he has heard this before. The fact it came from the Ravens has been covered up until this point. Vincent and Grigson can't agree when Vincent was notified during the game which prompted balls to be measured at halftime for the first time in history. Only four of the Colts balls were measured. The NFL lied to the world about the measurements.

How is this not a sting and a frame job?

Wells determined that Brady was a liar because he did not hand over his phone based on his lawyer's advice. Wells determines this routine decision by a "defendant" is one of the worst decisions he has seen in 40 years? What? This is mind numbing. This is just a routine discovery dispute and the law is on Brady's side and it is the deciding factor by both the "prosecutor and judge".

Could this be grounds for Berman to vacate the punishment?

What about that well known rumor the Colts pump in crowd noise? Nothing? Anything?

Maybe this has already been pointed out, but why is Grigson's email timestamped as having been sent a couple hours before Sullivan's?

Not going to review 29 pages, but this is telling.. the article is pro Brady.. if this is posted previously mea culpa..

You don't walk into a jewlery store with a mask on and ask about their security situation 30 minutes before you rob the joint.

If Brady was supposed to be sneaking around, engineering some vast conspiracy about the PSI in footballs, the last thing he'd want to do is call the officials' attention to them.

So when we went into that particular Jet game, there was going to be inclement weather and I -- we came to I think a mutual decision. And he said, believe me, we are going to use a lot of these old footballs that are from training camp which, I don't know, four or five weeks, six weeks ago that we would never typically use in a game because they don't have any Lexol on them.

But they are already broken in so that when the water hits the ball, the water will absorb into the ball and it will create, you know, enough tackiness with just the water that you will be able to grip it when you throw it.

So I was a little hesitant, but I went with it. You know, I felt the balls before the game. I said all right, you know, let's go for it. And then I got on the field and hated it.

God, I hope Doty is emboldened by all this and holds him in contempt. Wouldn't that be lovely.
What is this contempt deal? I must have missed something.

espn.com coverage... link comes off their front page (although not the "lead" story)
http://espn.go.com/boston/nfl/story...-deflategate-released-nfl-players-association

NEW YORK -- Tom Brady denied under oath to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell that he tampered with footballs before the AFC title game, and investigator Ted Wells testified that he never warned the New England Patriots quarterback he would be punished if he didn't turn over his cellphone.

The article is sober enough. I'd call it neutral, not positive or negative. Also includes the fact that Brady turned over copies of his emails.

Why anybody in his right mind would turn over anything he didn't have to, when the Patriots knew the NFL was a fake-info leak factory, is beyond me.

If you'll mislead sources into reporting lies to create a scandal, what will you do with family pictures, notes on contracts, etc., not related to the investigation?

Kessler asks Vincent:

Q. Okay. So prior to this game, okay, had you

5 ever heard of the Ideal Gas Law?

6 A. No, sir.

Q. Let me represent to you, according to League

6 official statistics, the Patriots had the ball for

7 10:18 and the Colts had it only for 4:42, okay? So

8 let's assume that the League statistics are correct,

9 okay? You are a former player, correct?

10 A. That's what they say.

Q.
So do you have any explanation -- is

17 Mr. Gardi a lawyer?

18 A. Yes.

19 Q. Is he a careful lawyer?

20 A. Yes.

21 Q. If it was so clear, do you have any

22 explanation as to how he could have "10.1" written

23 down as the figure and it was not one of the

24 figures?

25 A. I can't speak for David.

Troy Vincent is so in over his head. I hope Kessler puts him on the stand in the trial. He should get a lawyer to help him think through how to protect himself from Goodell who used him as a pawn to hand out the punishment to Brady.

I had always wondered why BB during his Mona Lisa Vito presser why he talked about using crappy balls during practice. That's why.

BB and has former mentor Parcells always have been known to use "crappy" balls during practice, to prepare for any scenario.. have heard Zolak talk about this many times.

Perhaps Harbaugh might try this, otoh maybe it is better if he just whines...

...and the NFL and Underdog Kensil never extended the courtesy to the Pats about the concerns the Dolts had with the footballs before the game.

Why? Because they wanted to catch them in the act.

Yep. I'm with ya. Based on the testimony, TB uses those same balls in games. Those were the dots I wasn't connecting....

Yes. If Kessler's brief is correct in arguing that prior notice of penalty possibilities is required, then that revelation is a smoking gun.

It seems like I spend half my time on this forum making corrections to my ratings. I beg you, Ian, for larger icons!
