WHO is on now? what a bunch of @icks ! they believe he did something, but punishment too severe ! They feel it ! Why cause he asked Jez to make sure the refs have balls at 12.5? doesnt taht mean he tells them 12.5 and thats what they do? How much common sense do you need?

So sick of the ,"Brady did something" or "Somebody did something" BS.

Tanguay and Buck are suspicious creatures.

actually, they're pathetic bastards who are trying to hold on to the angle of this story they have been running with all along......kinda like the NFL when they wind up having their 'AHA' moment and will easily dismiss it on the lies that were perpetrated.

Anyone who proclaimed that Brady should just accept something like a game or 2 will just avoid the story in the end.....they'll just stop talking about it and talk about Luchhino instead

Aaaannnd on cue, Tanguay starts refuting Florio. What a mental midget. It figures he's on today. God I really loathe that man.

Sports talk radio is similar to the WWE. Tanguay is only on there because WEEI knows he would take the opposite view and create some controversy. I switched stations the minute Florio hung up the phone. :)

Dennis asked him if he thought Kensil should be fired and he said the NFL should do an internal investigation. He said it wouldn't be hard to get employee info (cell phones, texts etc) because the employees aren't unionized. If the owners want fans to think the NFL is trying to operate fairly & ethically, then an internal investigation is the next logical step in gaining some sort of credibility. That is why it probably won't happen.

In the Mueller investigation, the NFL employees' personal electronic devices were not included as part of the investigation. I'm not holding my breath on the NFL finding who the leaks are.

What the NFL also could do is to have each NFL employee in the league's HQ is to contact Mortenson and give him their explicit consent to reveal them as his source on these leaks if indeed they are one of his sources. Of course, Mortenson would have to play ball and reveal. I don't know the ethics of journalism and if there's some kind of edict where you don't reveal if the consent is given under duress. Would this be considered duress?

Most people suck at math. For the avg person on the street to actually inform themselves properly about this whole affair, suspend their hatred/jealousy, AND understand PV=nRT where the measurements are not only in SI, but the temp (T) is expressed in Kelvin....... no way the person on the street cares enough.

It's not just the average person. The NFL media and some in Boston sports talk radio don't come across as having many critical thinkers. I'd say the majority would buy it if the NFL said the planet is flat, hundreds of years of science be damned. The cry would be "He destroyed the phone, the planet is flat!!!!" or "What about those text messages talking about flatbread pizza. See Mike they know the planet is flat!"

Tanguay is shameless, he should be selling used cars somewhere.

Oh sure. An NFL INTERNAL investigation will surely be impartial and untainted........

He is the only Boston media person with LESS mental capacity than the MCI.

This is not about his point of view. Look, there are plenty of haters who at least have a brain; Felger, Borges, etc.

Tanguay is just slow minded. He should be wearing a safety helmet. It's sad to say, but I doubt he could spell "cat" even if you spotted him the c and the a.

Some comments on the comments:

1. Yes Florio is a hater and a Steeler toady. -I found the site when he was nothing but a fan with a web site, a few agent friends, and some ambition. Long before he went big time. For years he has painted the Pats in negative lights even on positive stories. I stopped going there when I found he consistently edited ANY comments that criticized him personally for what he wrote.

2. The fact his that he has ALWAYS been suspicious of Roger Goodell, and that trumps his anti-Patriot tendencies. So in reality he isn't supporting the Pats directly, he is going after Goodell, and he's going at him HARD!

3. Florio is smart - and the evidence in this case is easy. Science concluded that nothing happened in the first place. Even the bought and paid for science of Exponent in the end concluded they couldn't prove ANYTHING happened. Then when the emails came out, the NFL's culpability became clear. This is easy pickings for some one with Florio's background.

4. The person in the media who REALLY seems like he's carrying the Pats flag has been Bruce Allen. The link to his recent article (a must read) on Tomase shed new light on just what a bag job he did on the Pats in 2007. He puts in question the entire, " cameraplacement gate" punishment. HIS work should be supported and recognized.

5. Even while the evidence is piling up and becoming even more clear, it is going to take some time before the true narrative comes out. Watching CSN last night the panel was made up of some chick, Curran, and some ex local NFL player. Every one hammered Goodell like you expected, but at the end the chick says, "Well it's pretty clear that BOTH sides on this end up looking bad".,,,,, and the other 2 nod in agreement.,

HOW does Brady look bad when he didn't do anything more than not go nuts when the story first broke, and "destroying" his cell phone [Which everyone has acknowledged contained no useful info to the case). Yet the media STILL views this as "both side look bad".

4. Bottom line, we have more work to do.

I don't think he's slow-minded as much as he plays the game of sports media carnival barker to the point of ridiculousness. He stands for nothing, saying whatever is necessary to stir the pot and get a rise out of people. I've seen him argue both extremes of the same issue, just at different times.

hes
Even after Florio talked about tire pressure on a cold day, Tanguay still comes back with I think Brady did something. Really mind boggling that such a simple concept is so difficult for them to grasp.
hes felger in waiting/training

Good god they've got Gregg Doyle on now!!!!

Doyle is preaching "logic". Deflated footballs and destroyed phones. Guilty!!!

Please keep the updates coming...thanks!

How can anyone listen to Tanguay more than 2 minutes? I gave it a try for fun. Already given up after 60 seconds.

Doyle must be talking on Brady's destroyed phone. Sounds like sh*t. They've had to put him on hold s couple times. Didn't get much out of him. Too bad really.

What did he say about that specifically?

Paraphrasing: That when it broke he started to think that maybe his recent anti League posts may have been for naught - since it seemed like this new info was inflammatory. Upon further reading/reflection the League was just adding to a brilliant campaign to embarass Brady with (1) the Mort leaks bookended by (2) the "destroyed" phone...
