My opinion has always been: Kraft accepted the League's judgment because he's doing what *he* expects of his players: sacrifice for the next higher organization (ie, the front office).

Kraft sees himself as on the team of owners, and the League as the next higher org. He sacrificed by accepting the League's judgement for the greater good of his Team; his good faith was betrayed.

Bedard is acting surprising stupid.

I'm not sure it's that surprising. Bedard takes time to actually look at game film, determines his own arbitrary grading system, sits down with two morons once a week (which makes him look smart by comparison) and this board turned him into some kind of local football savant. He's never been anything special.

He needs to threaten to resign from the tv committee, if not outright resign, he was the main man in aquiring the big revenue contracts with the networks. He needs to at least try and take legal action, he needs to fight for his team and its fans.

Fight how? Legal options are off the table and resigning would be the absolute wrong thing to do. What does taking out a page in the Boston Globe accomplish that his statement didn't do already?

I'm not sure what people want him to do. I'll be disappointed if we see him cuddling on the couch with Goodell any time soon, but we'll cross that bridge if we come to it.

Kraft screwed up. He admitted it. Move on.

I wish I could see this, but I am at work. Its sounds like a good one, I hope Kraft now does whatever he can to get Goddell and the entire staff fired. What a bloody mess this all is !!

I think that just stemmed from him being a decent read when he worked for the globe (remember he replaced breer and volin replaced him, so in comparison he was a great read) and people were being loyal to him to even listen to those idiots the two hours he was on. But during this thing he's shown he was always been a mediot, he just hid it well working for the globe.

Guy was all aboard the goodell hate train last season, now he is nit-picking because Kraft said "league" instead of "goodell".

He gave up his right to appeal which was stupid in my opinion. But can you show us evidence that legal options are off the table?

BEDARD SUCKS. He's been a straight ******* toward those who believe that Brady is innocent for months.

That being said he has a point. While what Kraft said is a step in the right direction he needs to call out Goodell directly. The Commish has had a heavy hand in this ******** and it's time to go for his throat. While attacking the league in general is all well and good he needs to get after Goodell like Brady and the NFLPA have.

My understanding is that legal actions were tied to the outcome of the appeal. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I said 'at least try-to take legal action' in case you missed it kraft is the most influencial member of that revenue generating committee, hes respoonsable for those big tv contracts the owners love so much. I should have posted that kraft should threaten to resign if goodell is allowed to continue his reign of terror. Doing those things would show me that hes sincere, that he now undestands how badly he screwed up.

Give him slack if you want, but Bedard is 100% correct here.

Until Kraft goes after his little buddy, he hasn't changed a damn thing in my and most fans mind.

Stop talking. Start doing.
Even today Bob seem to be pointing fingers are nfl lawyers.

Can't correct you because I don't know that answer.

I would assume that there was an appeal deadline. By not appealing he accepted the punishment. I doubt that there is any way to fight this battle. Unless the NFL grows a pair and publishes the results of their ball measurements this season which might show exactly the same PSI issues and then lifts the penalties. So zero chance.

You posted it, why should he do the research?

Saying that I'm willing to be corrected means I'm being underhanded? I thought that was open mindedness, but what do I know?

It was all spelled out a long time ago. For Bob to sue about the punishment, he first needed to appeal. Since he chose not to take the first step, he cannot take the second. Furthermore, he admitted in his statement that there was no specific quid pro quo agreement, so on what grounds is he going to bring legal action? Against who?

One thing I took out of the interview is that the Patriots are not going to discuss this anymore and move onto training camp. I know the media is in love with the idea of a "civil war" as they seem to be calling it, but I truly think Kraft is about done with it and ready to let the legal process take it's course. He said what he felt and conveyed his disagreement and I think it ends there. I'd like to see legal action by the Patriots, but I'm not sure we are going to see anymore besides what Kessler and his staff will bring to the table later on down the road.

"It's already been addressed."
Strong words from BB.

Bob Kraft has paid the price for trusting a snake. I hope he learns from it. I would surround my team with security after this. No one can be trusted.

Serious question....one of the yahoo's filling in Colin Cowherd spot just said "the ball boys did indeed tell Well's that Brady told them to deflate the balls". Than went on the rant why did they fire them if no wrong doing. He was definitely saying brady told them to illegally deflate them.
This was never said that I'm aware of or did I somehow miss this bombshell? Lol

So why would Krafty humbly accept the 4 game suspension when goodell first announced it and then explode when goodell didn't change it?

Sounds like goodell and Krafty had some handshake deal that goodell would either reduce or eliminate the suspension during the appeal if Kraft didn't fight it, and then goodell broke his promise (probably due to the urging of irsay, biscotti, etc)

If that's the case, then I was wrong about Kraft being spineless. Instead he's just gullible

The media is the worst problem in this country. Complete and total garbage and people eat it right up as fact.

Very true and it's so frustrating when they have this platform to put that out there and there's no one there calling them out on it! I will point out this guy did not say any of this type of stuff when Joe Theismann was on there defending Brady. It was obvious Theismann has really followed this whole thing and would have called him on it so of course nothing like that brought up. So frustrating !
