Kraft Quotes Today

Looks to me like he's not sure what's going to happen b/w Brady and the Shield. Definitely a quote intended to create distance.

So if it's just the appeal, Kraft could say "I really hope he's out there week 1."

If it's the appeal plus something, Kraft says what he said.

I think you guys might be getting your Brady v. NFL. It's at least on the table as far as Kraft presently knows (which makes sense - TFB's Plan B in case of an unsuccessful appeal would more likely involve the NFLPA than Kraft. Hell, Kraft could get named in the suit... wouldn't that be fun?)

This is exactly what is going on. Kraft is anticipating that he along with the other 31 will be on the receiving end of a Brady lawsuit and he's not going to say anything that will disadvantage the league. He's in a crappy position, but eff him anyway. Sometimes principle has to trump dollars. I really hope the fans make his life s miserable hell for what he's done.

My feeling is Kraft has to have inside info that will (or would) implicate Brady in some way. No other explanation for his throwing Brady under the bus like he has. NONE.

If I'm wrong and Brady is fully exonerated, I will have a very hard time rooting for any team that Kraft owns. If Brady is in fact innocent, then Kraft is the most unforgivably shameless owner in the history of the NFL--throwing a guy under the bus who, along with Belichick, has made this franchise; the ultimate team player and competitor, who has repeatedly re-structured more than any other QB ever has for the sake of of his team and for the sake of winning. All things considered, Brady is and has been the most valuable QB in the NFL for going on 15 years and will probably go down as the GOAT, not to mention the ultimate team player.

If in fact Kraft turns out to be the spineless coward he appears to be at the moment, I will root for Brady to be successful, but Kraft won't get a red cent from me ever again.

How could Brady be guilty? The balls were not deflated. Fact aka science tells us that. Why are you speculating that the laws of science failed that day?

68,000 fans at the game booing him is the same financial return as 68,000 fans at the game. Unless it hits his hip pocket, what us little lemmings think of Kraft will not make one difference (unfortunately).

I've said it time and time again. Billionaires only understand and care for one thing. They can pretend they don't and they can say whatever they like in public but it's clear as day what it is.

Kraft is banking on our love of Belichick, Brady and the players overcoming any dislike for him. It'll be interesting to see what happens when this very talented roster goes deep in to the playoffs again.
Kraft is somewhat insulated from reality but I think he still has feelings. If he is on the field and the boos are loud enough, he'll feel it. He NEEDS to feel it.

Do you guys remember when the Ray Rice stuff was the big NFL outrage? The owner of the Ravens, Steve Bisciotti, went well out of his way to cover the entire issue up. He knew his guy did something terribly wrong, and still went all out to protect his franchise by lying and trying to cover things up. Yet the team is not punished and the fans have no reason to hate the owner.

Why is it that everyone else in the NFL can be a compulsive liar, be caught in these lies and not face any sort of retribution? They don't act like p*ssies is why.

Brady is standing up for himself, the coach backed him up on national TV with a !@#$ing science experiment. They can all act like men playing the game of corporate politics. Kraft does too, but his interest do not align with the rest of the team. That's an absolute shame.

Kraft has been, and will continue to be the weak link. The giant hole in the side of the ship letting on water, dragging everyone down. He refuses to specifically call out his fellow owners and his own employee that he helps pay $40 million to when he's had the right to do so, many times. He could have stood up against Goodell, when he was completely new and inexperienced, during the camera placement days, but instead he attacked the coach that brought him his success and that was it. He could have went full on crazy when the Colts were given the keys to the rule book. He could have told the other owners 'Yup, this sh!t happened to us and can happen to you too' when the Saints got reamed. He could have laughed in Goodell's face during the Ray Rice debacle and essentially neutered the maggot that slammed his franchise. He could have demanded an investigation into the NFL leaks and basically point the finger at Goodell. But he didn't do any of these things because it didn't hurt the (only) two things he cares about: young girls and his bank account.

One would hope so Tune but who knows anymore? Defamegate has fast become as stupid one of those stupid reality shows where kids spend it drunk, fight each other and invariably hop into bed with each other before repeating it again for the next episode.

There's been a progression. The giant flip-flop was puzzling as ****. Go into the room "hopping mad," come out hugging the commish? Okay what did he get offered/threatened with?

Then the "whoever deserves to be on the field..." - No, there is no way that's neutral. That's a swipe at Brady. I mean, in the absence of this off-season BS, he would still be looked at as signaling that Brady better watch his back, what with that new JAG guy yipping at his heels.

With this stuff around, there is no way that phrasing means nothing. Kraft wants a head start if he finds himself ahem, at odds with Brady and needing more daylight.

Brady should go on the air and hug the **** out of him and say "I love me some Bob Kraft, this other stuff is just honor. You saw us all dedicate the season to his wife when she died. No matter what happens in the future, Bob knows everything we do on this football team, and he knows deep in his heart we share a deep bond that no future events can break no matter what."

Watch him turn purple with rage at getting the poison hug :)

Unfortunately Brady isn't a good enough actor to pull off slick stuff like that with lie-through-his-teeth sincerity. You can tell from his Salem State appearance, he's better at treating a joke like a joke.

He posts from the swill of New Jersey ...Interception is definitely a troll.

I've also posted from North Carolina, New York City, upstate New York, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Toronto. I am still a Patriots fan. However, unlike many on this board, I am not blind in my devotion and judge fairly, just like I would any other team. Would we be so against deflategate if this were against another team? Of course not.

Enough! You need to take a long break from posting on this forum. Please take a hint from all the negative feedback you're getting from other members. Sheesh -- 321 posts, 378 disagrees/dislikes. That must be some sort of record.

I don't pay attention to "dislikes." They are meaningless to me. I don't care how many people disagree with me, my opinion is my truth to me just like yours is to you.

You don't post in a vacuum, sport. This is a community. Your "truth" more often than not should be kept to yourself, because more often than not it is beyond reason. THAT is what others are pointing out to you via feedback. You absolutely should pay attention and care about that. Otherwise, you're simply being a troll. Just look around you. I've been on this forum nearly 11 years and never have seen a member amass as much negative feedback in as few posts as yourself.

For someone who says he does not care about "dislikes" he gives them out as if they are exhales.

Kraft has jumped the shark. Had he turned over the reins to Jonathan last year, he could have sailed off into the sunset as the owner who built a dynasty. Instead like the aging superstar who played one season too many (e.g. Willie Mays with the Mets) his reputation takes a hit...
He could easily have said,
" Look I am caught on both sides. As an owner, I am one of 32 whose job is to promote this league but I am bound by the League Constitution as to what I can and can't do . But as owner of the New England Patriots, my responsibility is to do whatever I can for the betterment of this franchise. I totally believe my QB, Tom Brady had nothing to do with any deflation and the only person to blame is Mother Nature. I have appealed this unjust, unfair league punishment and even if unsuccessful, I hope it will send a message that I support all involved unconditionally because I believe and the science proves them to be innocent. I commissioned the website wellsreportcontext.com to buttress this argument and show the league, the Commissioner, the fans and the media that there was nothing done against the rules and nothing that goes against the integrity of the game.
When it's all said and done, I hope Tom is out there week 1 when we raise the banner."

That is support for your QB without selling out to the other 31 owners.......

I agree wholeheartedly.

Has he eaten a **** yet?

Not only that, but like the Pied Piper logo, he has a snack **** tucked behind his ear!

The NFL spent millions of dollars on a 250 page report that tried to prove that Brady was guilty. When the report was unable to find any proof of Brady's guilt, goodell decided he was guilty anyways.

This has been a witch hunt from the start.

Therefore I don't buy that anyone has any hidden proof of Brady's guilt. Especially The NFL. If so, they would've used it and suspended Brady for the year.

Are you kidding me with this? This is a message board for posting opinions and sharing information. Who cares if anybody agrees with your opinion or not, share away. Do not be the thought police.

If anyone is so sick of Kraft that they'd like to get rid of their season tickets, and those tickets are about at the 50 yard line down near the field, let me know. I'll buy 'em in a heart beat.
