Not a big deal. If he's from Washington then its pretty natural to be a fan of the local team. He's also making sure his right hand is clearly displayed, brandishing that championship ring.

Why did we cut him again instead of letting his contract just expire?

I guess he won't be inducted into the "Patriots Hall of Fame", anytime soon...

I can't believe those 2 bandwagon Seahawk fans snuck into the game

Day of the superbowl he was on some radio show and said he's wearing his Seahawks jersey and Patriots ring and he's not rooting for either team because he has ties to both.

He said he's a 'patriot for life' and was praising Bill and Brady and the patriot way.

He also said he helped Thomas and Chancellor when they were rookies so he's just hoping for a good game.

So everyone needs to relax a bit lol

Why didn't he wear Lincoln High School gear?

He was also on Seattle FWIW

No big deal to me. Loyalty in pro sports isn't what it once was.

I was a Milloy fan, he had his limitations for sure but I thought he played really well here and was a real leader for the Super Bowl XXXVI team. But, the team moved on from him (which I agreed with at the time given what I saw from Rodney even in that preseason) so I think he gets to do the same. I totally get that this is the Super Bowl and you want all the ex-Pats to line up for our guys, but this is a special case to me. Based on what he has said since retiring, I think his heart is in the right place about the Pats. He played for Pete Carroll, played for the Seahawks, and is from and lives in Washington State. I think if I were in his spot I'd feel the same way as he said, proud of his association with both teams. A win-win game for him, I think. Good by me, seems like a good dude, never anything sketchy so far as I know. I wish him the best.

Love that guy. Sure they were on the outs for awhile but they patched things up and I'm glad for it. He was an awesome Patriot and part of our first Super Bowl Championship team. I could care less what hat he wears. Wait.....just not a GREEN ONE.

He played for Pete in New England.. He played for both teams..he also help coach for Seattle.. He is wearing a Seahawks hat and flashing our jewelry.. We cut him in the most brutal way possible. We can't be this dumb to hate on him.

The guy lived in Washington as a teen he played for Seattle to finish his career, he likely knows more guys on the Seattle team than the Pats team. I bet he was happy to be at a sea vs pats Super Bowl it's win win for him.

We will never know the whole story.. but liked Malloy when he was here, a lot less now.. but this is football, a grand diversion.

He spurred the mediot hate when Tom Jackson railed, about how the Pats players, "hate their coach"...

his from Washington he spent the last two years of his career with the Seahawks where Kam Chancellor and Earl Thomas say they learned to play safety from him so he still has friends there and lets be real he has not been a patriot for 12 years were he was cut, so I have no problem with it. if Willie McGinest was wearing a browns hat then I would be pissed

Maybe he had a Pats hat with him and put it on if the Pats fan wanted a pic, lol...

So he'd have been a winner either way. Nothing wrong with that.

Or a player paying respect to both teams. So yes, a winner either way.

One wore a Brady shirt, the other a Wilson shirt. Lucky Irish Bastards!
