I happened to pull out my Arkush's Pro Football 2010 Draft Guide, and it has this to say about LaFell, "Stalks defenders as a blocker and will deliver a knockout shot."

Sounds good to me, but I don't remember him doing it and that it the type of stuff I look for; I wish he would to that to some of the loudmouths on the Seachickens such as Sherman.

La fell is the most physical receiver I've seen in the belichick area. More important, to me, is the chancde of turning a quick throw into a big gainer at any time.

He's a "smash mouth" WR. What a great addition he's been. I was up in the air about signing him with the "stone-hands" moniker following him and our past history of signing 6-2+ WR's and how they all quickly fizzle out.

Great blocker, good locker room dude who's bought in, effusive praise for the little things from coach and oh yeah, 74 cathes 953 yards and 7 TD's. We scored bigtime with this dude.

Of course you remember him doing it he was getting flagged for offensive PI left and right early in the year and at least one was a pretty good knock out shot.

He cleaned it up a bit the flags haven't come in a while but you can still see his blocking is top notch.

Nice. Recently Belichick spoke about how impressed he was that LaFell so diligently looked for blocks on plays when other WRs would just chillax and let the play die.

On Amendola's first TD last game Lafell was blocking one dude at the five, and chipped a second to give Amendola a chance to score.

He might be worth 3x what we're paying him. What a pick up. Made a hell of a catch with the ball getting away from him to beat the thuggs.

Yes that was a great play by Lafell. I also had forgot about those early OPI. Dude can block.

Just listened to his press conference, Pats nailed it on this signing. He also called Lane a "superstar" :D

Gotta admit I was fully wrong about him. Was calling him Brandon "Tate" LaFell. So glad I was wrong. Rarely ever do guys struggle early here and succeed. Props to him.
