True. Either way, it's still a shame that one guy can make up a story and the entire world will run with it without waiting to see what's going on.

The headlines and suggestion that the Pats "deflated footballs" is what really sucks ass.

Even if....somehow the refs forgot to examine the balls, the elements brought the official weight down a gram or something (I don't know), the sheer insinuation and automatic jumping to conclusions by everyone in the media is disgusting.

I mean, aren't there just as many, if not many more possibilities than "just" the tricky Patriots must have somehow cheated by sabotaging all of the gameballs?

Well, Albert Breer is all over this, and the hounds are at full bay. Pats should be stripped of all 3 SB titles and the Colts should be awarded this game because reasons.

How does anyone benefit from deflated footballs? Are we all not using the same ones? Sounds convoluted to say the least...

The rules give about an 8% range of allowable weights for the footballs. This illustrates that the whole operation is somewhat weather-dependent.

Anyhow, I thought NFL-level allegations about ball tampering usually alleged they'd been put in freezers or something, not that somebody had literally let air out.

Anyone find it funny that this comes out after we blew out the colts and news broke of patriots requesting investigstion in jets tampering?
